    This replaced a 50" LG TV which went dark after four years or so. The picture is nice, but the TV sits about three inches lower on its stand than my old one. The IR on/off receptor is in the middle of the bottom of the TV and was blocked by my old LG sound bar. I had to make a small stand to raise the TV so the remote could turn the TV on/off.

    Bought tv for man cave at my house in md. Looked online but wanted to see tv picture in person prior to buying it. Looked at Samsung which I have in my house but decided on lg flat as it had a better range of view. Sales rep had me buy an in needed wired to connect to my sound bar that I bought as well. I will return this item. Good picture.

    The TV has multiple picture settings, which really appeals to me. I was worried about getting constant "jitter" and soap opera effects, but I'm able to adjust to avoid. Lots of smart features, and really nice UX with the remote and on-board apps. Definitely recommend!
