This is great tv at this prize, its pretty impressive with its picture quality and sound. No need to buy sound bar. The only problem I found is with some apps like youtube. When you play few videos (or cast video from chromcast), it doesn't display the full screen .

Especially happy with the crispness and clearness of the picture!

I wasn't expecting this TV to be stellar, but was pleasantly surprised compared to my Sony XBR65X800b (2014). In all honesty, the picture after making some pretty major settings adjustments (to both TVs) is quite similar to each other. They also both share a major issue for my setup - namely an insane amount of glare from windows (during day). and lamps (at night). I've had matte flat screens since 2005, and while those had a muted white "haze" from windows and such (which took some getting used to), both these TVs show reflections like the older glass screen CRT/tube TVs. Perhaps I'll get used to this, but not sure I want to. This is very unfortunate any time a dark scene is on the screen. Not a problem for white/colorful/bright scenes. Sound without a soundbar/AVR is ok. Not great. Better than the Sony. I'm used to Sony remotes, which have too many buttons, but this LG remote is pretty poor. No way to tell much by feel, since there are so many small similar buttons. Now to the bad part - TV was delivered on 12/3/15 at 11am. Was setup and tweaked by me that afternoon. Watched it that night. Was deciding if a good choice due to great price. Next day, 12/4/15, at 10pm took a phone call, came back into den and TV was off. Pushed power button on remote. LED under LG logo flashed three times, but no picture/sound. Unplugged TV, waited 30 seconds, 1 hour, overnight and still nothing but blinking LED three times. Seeing if I can get this "Sold Out Online" TV exchanged, but Best Buy's system still shows my TV "in transit" even though it was delivered two days ago, so they can't even do anything until they get that sorted out. Meanwhile, I have a two day old TV that doesn't work.

Awesome TV!!! Easy to setup, great picture quality, and great features. Apps are easy to install and use. Sound quality is ok for a TV.

Not sure if maybe I have a defective model, but my screen is incredibly dark, especially in a dark lit room. You would assume that to be the opposite, where in a dark room the TV would shine bright but somehow that is not the case. Spent an hr playing around with settings, brightness is turned to 100, backlight is turned to 90 (because when its to 100 it doesn't make the tv brighter but rather washes out the colors so it looks like you just have a white screen overlay) and its still beyond dark for a comfortable viewing experience. The whites are not white but rather cement/ash color due to the darkness. Is anyone else experiencing a VERY dark picture on this set? I call up BestBuy and although the woman was super friendly, she said this TV is no returns?! That is rather odd for BestBuy to not have returns at all. Is this due to it being a BF deal? So disappointed in this whole experience. I have bought my last 2 55' Samsungs from BestBuy without a hitch and this has been a nightmare. UPDATE: Bestbuy got back to me and said since the TV is no longer in stock. they will accept a return. That's cool and all, but it sort of left a bad taste in my mouth from the blatant "no return" on this model policy that wasnt remotely mentioned during checkout/on the item page.

Excellen TV for an amazing Price the image quality and conectivity is every thing you want

Picture was not that great, menu basic, but the worst part was it failed after 3 weeks. Vertical lines across the TV caused us to return unit and upgrade.

This tv was supposed to be a blessing. Well that was until I found out how miserable the input lag was.

Good deal. Sucks they don't offer the tv anymore but I got it at a good deal.

After 2 weeks the hdmi 1 had no sound. The optical out also has no sound as well. The Wi-Fi keeps disconnecting. It dose not seem to upscale anything. Older dvd's are now horrible to watch since they seem stretched out. I wish I could return it but I think it's too late. So I guess I'm stuck with it. Very disappointed.
