Defective out of the box

Right out of the box, the picture quality was excellent, and set up was easy. after running for 40 minutes the sound just quit, I checked on updates and applied 2 updates & after restarting the sound came back on. But in another 20 ,minutes, the sound was gone again. Power off and on brought it back for a few minutes, but it would not stay on. I contacted LG support & the determined that it needed to be serviced. A BRAND NEW TV! I contacted BestBuy & after an hour on the phone (more on hold than speaking with actual person) they offered to replace it in 4 days. This is a holiday week and I am unable to be home for adelivery &pickup the day before Thanksgiving. I reached out out to my local store manager & she allowed me to return it and replaced it with a better quality Samsung. Other than the hassle of packing up the old one, and taking it back to the store (with a broken leg) I was impressed with the store manager's commitment to customer service Over all, I would say there is a reason for this TV to be sold at the price it is, but I would expect a brand like LG to be better
