First off the picture is great, first 4K Tv and much bigger than my 52" Sharp Aquos. However, through initial set up, naming inputs, downloading apps, etc., on the second day some 'factory mode' came on every time I powered it on. Called LG to troubleshoot, was supposed to send someone to look at it since I didn't want to box it up and return. 3 days later and no call from LG tech, took it to Best Buy. Quick exchange, same model but new tv, same problems. Called back to LG and got the same service rep, got fed up and boxed it again, traded for a Sony.
Again, great picture and Best Buy was very nice in exchanging without any grief. LG on the other hand doesn't handle their business or can tell me why every time I turned the Tv off for the night the next morning all of my settings were gone.

I had purchased a 55 in. Insignia Roku TV 4k from Bestbuy and after a few months a pixel went bad and long story short i received the option of getting store credit to purchase the same TV which had gone down$100 or upgrade to this wonderful and amazing 65 inch 4k TV.
The main reason i purchased this TV was price. I for one am the type of person who looks for the best product and best price and i think you are too. I did read reviews just like you and gave in on the purchase and let me say this. I compare my old 4k tv to this one and the difference is quite stunning.
This TV is not the most expensive nor the best quality you can buy, but you are not going to be disappointed trust me.
The smart features in the TV are more than you could ask for its basically a computer on your TV.
If you do not have 4k movies or content to watch like me lol i recommend you look at some 4K youtube videos and you will fall in love.

I bought this tv like a month ago. I chose this tv over samsung tv. I've had a great experience with LG electronic products, they usually last longer in my opinion. Easy to install and set up ! Easy user interfaces to get you set up! Havent used the full 4k experience yet since my internet is kind of slow. Great sound and i love how thin this tv is. I didnt mount it on the wall. Im not using a cable i just use amazon prime and netflix. I tried using just a web browser but typing in web address is kind of ... takes some time to type. Ive had a couple incidents where i had to unplug the power since there was just a loading but nothing happening. I think it was because of my internet but great experience so far.

I read reviews for ALOT of tvs. I had an old 40 inch westinghouse that I was looking to upgrade. It had been years since I bought a TV and all of the new terms were very foreign to me. I knew that I wanted a 65 in and beyond that I was very flexible. The room my TV is in is very bright for much of the day and a best buy consultant recommended an LG because they specifically have a great bright room setting. I reviewed LG, samsung sharp and wound up with this TV because at $799 it was a really great value. The picture quality is amazing!!! I have streamed a few things in 4k and I love it! The sound is really good for a thin tv but I do plan to get a soundbar. Overall my cousin bought a 65 in samsung on the same day I bought my LG. She paid $200 more and wound up liking my TV better!

I will be brief because there are longer reviews available-
Pros- amazing picture, HDR makes the colors really pop, easy to use, better than average sound w/o a sound bar. I am very satisfied.
Cons- the remote is a bit weird so I use my Comcast remote instead.
Overall- I would buy this TV again.

I wanted to replace a 60'' Samsung plasma tv(a great tv) and wanted to get the samsung 65 UHD which was on sale and then i went into the store and the picture on the LG just looked a lot brighter and crisper. This product is slim easy to set up and an amazing purchase. Best Buy dropped it off quick placed it exactly where I needed it and I actually set it up all by myself, carried it into the entertainment center - that's how light it is.

The price, picture, apps, and ease of use makes this 4K TV, a home run. For $799, there is almost nothing that is as competitive. You can download an LG app to your iPad or phone and use it as a remote. I have had the LG for about a month and still learning. The built in apps like Netflix and Amazon are faster, better picture, than any of the current streaming devices. You Tube is marvelous. +++++

TV looks great.Smart features are awesome.Struggled a bit to setup optimal setting for viewing.gave 3 stars for price quality and features
Coming to negetive aspects, the remote is very basic.given the size of TV.one would expect a strong base. The TV comes with two pieces of plastic .I was not very sure if the TV would sit on those for long.Had to spend 100$ to get a universal stand.Do not want to wall mount as I live in a apartment and dont want to punch holes on the wall.
Youtube app is builtin but im not sure if it can play 4k videos. The videos just didnt feel like 4k.Can do better with apps.
I assume LG has packaged a good product in plastic frame just to cut the price on product.adding up all the money I spent for standing up the TV on stand would have actually bought me a standard 4k TV with solid features.
Recommend buying it only if you want to wall mount it and if you are ok with UPTO 4k content.
for 200$ extra you would actually get a better model (sharp or samsung)

I got this TV on sale for $799 and let me tell you it is the best money spent on a TV. The 4k quality is amazing and I actually enjoy the user interface. It has several options for picture tweaking which are very good, but I wish there were more options to really micro adjust it, which there aren't. The presets are very good though.
As many have reviewed here the remote is not as good, but I found a way around it by simply using the app that you can download and use with the TV which makes up greatly for the lack of a good remote. You can surf the internet comfortably, but it is very slow, so I wouldn't do much surfing here. Other than that the TV is great and it works precisely for what I bought for, to watch 4k Netflix videos and i've truly been enjoying it.

The TV does what I need it to do. It is a great theater like experience for watching movies on Netflix. I do not watch TV shows so I cannot comment on that. However, the 4k movies that I have seen (mainly travel programs) are fantastically clear. The quality of the sound is good as well. The WebOS 3.0 that comes with the set is hard to navigate and takes a lot of patience. I generally just hook up my computer to the set and watch that way. I also wish that the set had a headphone jack outlet. Most of the 4k TV's do not include that anymore except for Vizio. However, Vizio does not give the same picture quality as this LG. I use the optical port with a Bluetooth hub which will split the signal so that two Bluetooth headsets can be connected to get around the lack of a headphone jack outlet.
I would have given 5 stars had it not been for the headphone jack outlet and the WebOS.

Great TV, right price, love the smart wheel that brings up apps below, Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. That is nearly everything for my mom she lives off those two apps, loves watching movies. It was so hard for her to get either on her old TV, that was not a smart TV. My parents love the picture. I kinda screwed up though don't think they needed a 65, a 60 would have been fine, might almost be a touch too big for them. Also it is silver, we could have bought it the day before for $100 off but were worried about the silver. Its black with a silver border, not really siler, looks great. I'm an LG fan, Sony is too exp., Vizio is bad, would have been fine with a Samsung too, just prefer LG myself.

For the price of 400 cups of Starbucks coffee you can buy this great TV. This set has great pic quality and sound. It has many other smart features that are great as well, for example, it comes with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Google Play apps installed and with an account for each one you can stream them in HD and/or 4K video quality. Definitely worth more than the $800 I paid.

I already had a Panasonic 65" I bought two years ago and really didn't need another tv. But I wanted 4K so I can stream Netflix's 4K content and use my new Xbox s on it.
Stopped in to Best Buy on Black Friday to buy some gifts and saw this guy being sold for 799
Figured I would take a chance. Once you do some adjustments the picture comes to life. The 4K experience is amazing. The feature list is long for the price. Lots of apps to choose and it's wireless.
One thing I do hate is the remote. Every time I use it I feel I'm going to break it.

This tv was on sale and I heard good things about LG.
The pros: Excellent picture quality. Narrow frame. Good internal audio.
The cons: Smart Share feature is a little buggy and poor interface. No way to create thumbnails for your movie collection. Remote needs to be pressed twice to activate anything. If this is a defect and not a design flaw, I will be requesting a replacement. Tv automatically turns on soundbar, even when defeating it in the tv preferences. Turn soundbar off, and if I adjust the tv volume, it turns the soundbar on again. VERY ANNOYING! Also, no analog audio out on this model so cant use my headphones. Hopefully it can transmit via bluetooth to my other phones. Havent looked into that yet.
Not sure if Im keeping.

I purchased that tv & I didn't even know what it was capable of doing until I got it home & started to tinker with it. I have apps on there. My entire Ultraviolet Copy movie collection can be watched without even having to get up & put the disc into the player. It has capabilities that are beyond my knowledge. But it was easy to set up. Literally, from box, to the wall & watching it. In under 5 minutes. It tells you on the screen what to do for each part of the set-up. Simple & picture quality is outstanding. I'd highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a new TV.
