The picture is clear and the functions are easy to use. In all I love LG, the picture from "bad" signals seems to be better than our Samsung's. We purchased a Insignia at BB as well and it failed pretty quick. Sticking with LG in the long run as long as the quality stays where it is.

Color accuracy and bright-room performance are solid. The design is attractive, and the motion remote is one of the best available. The Bad Similarly-priced TVs perform much better. The Bottom Line An attractive design and cutting-edge compatibility add the LG's UH8500's appeal on paper, but in person its image can't beat competitors.
