I bought this TV and when it's working it looks fine but the TV screen goes blank every once in a while. i can still hear the sound, so I know it's not the cable going out. What a pain, as this is mounted on my wall and to exchange it would be such an inconvenience.

Unfortunately, my TV kept turning itself on and off. I had no choice but to call Best Buy to come pick it up because I could not figure out what was wrong with it.

Researched this LG TV & bought it at Best Buy....Easy to set up however returned it after a day & a half due to terrible picture quality as well as terrible sound!!!! Would never recommend anyone to buy this TV!!!!

The tv stopped working. It first turned off suddenly and rebooted. Now it won't turn on at all.

After evaluating the picture on this 65" TV in my home I returned it for a 55" Samsung (8000 series) and couldn't be happier. The Samsung was more expensive, but worth it in my opinion.

The refresh on this tv is terrible. I replaced a 5 yr old LG that had 120hz and it was way better. True motion 120hz is a bunch of junk. The lag is very noticeable.

The lg tv worked when we first turned it on after that it wouldn't come on! It wouldn't work after we turned it on for the first time!

The TV lasted 2 years and 7 months before dying...dead!! Not a good deal.

Terrible factory quality. Two units failed in less than two weeks.

I have had nothing but trouble from this tv since day one.

In the 65" class you have a LOT of choices in TVs from myriad manufacturers, all the way from the "secondary names" such as Vizio to Samsung, Sony and.... LG. The new thing, which is starting to displace IPS screens such as this one, is OLED. OLED has certain advantages, with one of the biggest ones being "infinite" black levels, because "off" is "off." Of course that only really applies in a BLACKED OUT room, which few people ever watch TV in (or even movies; even a commercial theater is not *completely* dark, nor is a home theater due to reflected light.) But OLEDs have disadvantages too; among them (in a big way) being price, although that's not exclusive. OLEDs are subject to screen burn (as are plasma displays) where IPS LCD screens, while it's technically *possible*, almost never have it happen. For TV watchers this is not very likely to bite you but if you're into video games which often have mono-colored status bars and similar that will be on the screen for hundreds of hours at a time..... If you want the "maximum feature set in the set" then this is probably not the set for you. It's internal feature set is very good; it has the expected (nowdays) internal apps for Netflix, Amazon, etc, and enough (three) HDMI inputs, one of which can feed audio back (and which should be connected to your receiver so if you receive OTA TV you can route the sound through your sound system) but if you want or need all the extras some sets now have then this isn't going to be the choice. But for what amounts to a large, 4k monitor with a digital tuner and a decent set of I/Os on it, it's nice. My one complaint with the connector field is that because nearly everyone wall-mounts these days manufacturers should have their ports mounted so they point *downward* instead of sticking out the rear; this way you can mount the TV flush instead of requiring spacers so you can actually *use* the ports on the TV. If LG had paid attention to that they would have gotten the last star, but it was not to be. Resolution wise it's as expected for a 4k display and I like the color fidelity. It's tunable if you wish as well (in terms of color temperature and similar) although the presets are reasonable -- on many TVs they're not. In short when at a reasonable price-point, which it is in the lead-up to the Superbowl (and was during Black Friday as well) this is an excellent buy for the money spent. In addition, unlike many of the newer sets you can decline to enable all the "enhanced" network stuff if you'd like -- some newer TVs make it nearly mandatory. I'm pleased, especially for the price. My DLP set was ~10 years old and getting cranky. I went up a bit in size because with the smaller bezels this fit where my 60" used to go, and on a wall-mount it was easy to install and set up. It properly sends control signals down the HDMI port to the receiver, so when powered on it powers up your receiver as well (provided it knows how to interpret the HDMI-CEC commands) and, if you were set for BluRay last, it will bring up the player also. Ditto when you turn the TV off. Nice. Reliability is of course unknown -- we'll see if LG lives up to its reputation. I've got a couple of their computer monitors in use and have yet to have any trouble with them. I wish I could say as many nice things about Samsung's..... In short, highly recommended, especially at the current price-point.

I bought this tv with a sound bar. Super clear and lots of features! I compared it to my Samsung 65" and this had more features. It's not an oled but it's great and you can't beat the price. Note: most shows and movies are in 1080i or 1080p from Netflix and the cable providers. I got a Kodi box and stream full 4K movies to my tv! The wireless 802.11AC is fast! Awesome! I just wish it had one more hdmi port. Great tv, great quality and works perfectly!

I upgraded from a 42 inch to this 65 inch in my living room. I love it! The colors are more vibrant, gaming is amazing. A good buy. Plus it will last because LG makes good quality products. Obviously not as good as a Samsung, but not sharp of Vizio quality

TV has an awesome picture. The apps a pretty good. The remote is a little bit hard to use kind of tricky sometimes on where to point it. The web browser is fairly slow when it comes to loading screens to to think it's going to replace your laptop for web browsing. You had get a wireless mouse and connect it to the USB and use it for web browsing which makes it a little easier. All in all a really good TV with the 799 we paid for it and it had free shipping so that was a plus.

I replaced my 5 year old 55" LG tv with this one, wanted to upgrade to a smart tv and up to the 65". Worth the upgrade, the picture is AWESOME and quickly figured out the functions ( the owners manual is disappointing) but all the features are great. My old 55 is now working down in the Mancave, it's been such a good tv that we stuck with the LG series.

Bought this tv in 2016 and has been a great tv. Beautiful picture. I tend to like the interface better on the roku tvs but other than that you get the quality that you pay for.

Love my LG Tv! For the price , the quality exceeds my expectations.

This isn't a true 4K panel. However, it allows you to stream 4K content. Netflix ends up looking a lot better due to the bandwidth increase. WebOS is probably the best TV operating system. Everything is easy to navigate and use.

Was debating between the LG and the Vizio and am VERY happy with my purchase. The remote is simple and easy to learn. The picture is fantastic, and we could not be happier with the TV.
