The picture on this TV is almost too clear. Watching the Hunger Games, you can see the earring holes in Katniss' earlobes. It actually makes it hard to watch my older HDTV that is in another room. So far everything we have played is regular 1080 video. It displays this much better than a standard HDTV. I can't imagine what 4k would look like.

After moving and finding that we were sitting further away from our TV, we realized we needed a bigger screen. In the process of reading many reviews and looking at lots of TVs for months, we settled upon the LG 4K OLED based upon the comments we had read about the picture. We went to the store to see for ourselves, and we were convinced. After putting the TV in our home, friends have commented without prompting that they really like the picture. The TV is incredibly light, and therefore easy to mount on the wall (or place upon a cabinet). Set up was incredibly easy as it was all automatic. The TV really is smart! And it talks to my Denon receiver and even my Apple TV. It doesn't matter which remote I pick up, I can pretty much control all the devices (except for singular tasks, such as using Siri with the Apple TV). If it keeps working the way it has so far, and if it lasts as long as my Sony Bravio (which got moved to the exercise room), I will be extremely satisfied.

I've owned this TV since 11/8/16 and I still marvel at the picture quality every time I turn it on. The slightly curved screen on the LGs (as opposed to the greater curve on the Samsungs) doesn't come into play unless you watch from the side of the TV. And this version gives you 3D while the flat screen doesn't so I thought I'd go with this one. I can't give this TV more stars but I would if I could. HIGHLY recommended.

Huge upgrade over what I had. Easy to use interface with the smart tv, etc. Amazing picture!

This is really a pretty picture tv. Very easy set up and really just a wonderful picture.

After extensive search, we settled upon this TV for its depth of color and clarity. Initially it was on sale -- with substantial reduction in price for the upcoming Christmas sale. Soon we found another legitimate site selling exact same TV for almost $500.00 less. I showed this ad to the manager (supervisor) of the store. He immediately reduced the price to match the ad price. Over all a very happy camper.

Vivid viewing and brilliant colors when watching favorite sports, movies, and scenery.

This is an excellent Tv for someone who likes to watch movies using an ultra 4K DVD player with HDR 4K movies, blacks are perfect and the colors pop, however for watching regular Tv (ex using a cable provider like uverse the Tv does not get bright enough like the Samsung SUHD tv and the oled blacks work against you. If watching movies in the dark using 4K DVD player is what you want this tv is for you, if on the other hand 80% of what you watch is regular tv this tv is not for you and other tv's like Samsung would be a better choice. Other features like magic remote, streaming all work well however could not get my Sony DVD surround system to sync with the tv for some reason.

Cannot beat the image you get with this TV. It is the best deal in the $3000 range!

I purchased this TV due to gravity taking the TV I bought last year. I wanted a 3D big screen HD etc TV because I've worked for it. No apologizes. This TV is spectacular, I don't know all the tect stuff but I do know that the #D effect is awesome, the HD is superior, and the overall satisfaction I have whit this is through he roof. Yes I would buy LG again, after the price comes down abit.

This is a beautiful TV, I have it wall mounted but the included stand is very nice if you chose to go that way. It was very easy to set up and connect to the internet despite not having an instruction manual. The picture looks fine with the default settings, Netflix and Amazon Prime work, no problems. I did go to settings->general->"LG HD ultra deep color" to turn on that function.
