LG is Almost There

The curved TV face is not smooth like the Samsung and therefore you have ripples alone the top and bottom of the screen. Another drawback is the dark screen. Movies are less bright. Fairly good TV. Hopefully the next generation will be improved.

OLED

Was just looking at a Samsung but after seeing the OLED by LG, it was a done deal. Yes the price of course was an issue but it is the best HDTV out in the market in my opinion. The picture is crisp and the blacks are amazing. if I had another 1K to spend, I would've gone with the picture glass.

Have fios and no 4k transmission. When changing channels ..when u get to some of the lower channels u get a black screen with a 4-6 second delay!

Outstanding TV

Previously had a Pioneer Elite Kuro plasma, which was the prior "gold standard." The LG picture is so much superior. Picture on a pane is incredible as well. Would recommend this OLED to anyone. Worth every penny.

Excellent Tv

The black levels are very deep, almost like that part of the television is turned off. At first the hdr gaming was bad because of the input lag, but with the update that problem is gone. I only wish the App Store had better content, besides that I highly recommend this tv.
