Change settings to eliminate soap-opera, then nice

Still a bit expensive for what you get, but definitely a huge upgrade over my old TV.

Oh, and it took some more time to download my apps and sign in to all of them (i highly recommend having all your passwords or codes ready to go). The motions and details are so much better . It is easy to focus on the negative and pick apart anything, but this is ultimately a good TV. I am very pleased. Bottom line is this is the best deal on TV's of this quality right now.

Only 4 stars because (1) Provided cables too short for cable management in wall mount. (2) VESA bolt holes very low on chassis - wound up with bottom higher than the 45”. (3) “Art Gallery” has content chosen by LG. (4) Screen is a mirror for reflections if you have windows opposite. (5) Should come with handle to allow install on wall by one person. Had to build a padded jig and buy a platform to align to wall mount clip. (6) Sound is just OK, but we got a soundbar and it’s fine. (7) Remote is challenging, but we will probably get used to it. GOOD: Image is very nice. Upscaling works well if you can’t afford the premium or have the bandwidth for 4k content.

Ex: you can't open settings with the TV choosing an input channel. That means it will choose an HDMI port or an app to open the settings. That gets annoying if you have HDMI-CEC.
