I decided to make the jump from a high-rated QLED TO OLED. I'm glad I did. Reviews point to the B5 not being as bright as it could be. Out of the box I watched "Train Dreams" and worried that it might be true. But "settings" provides multiple possible adjustments and makes it easy to tinker by letting you see the effect of your changes as you make them. It took very little time to tailor the picture to my room and preferences, and each day I grow more and more impressed by how clear and natural the picture is. I had wondered if having consistent blacks would really make that much of a difference, but it does. The TV's speakers are quite good, although I still prefer to run the sound through my audio system. The home screen is serviceable, if lackluster, but all-in-all this TV is well worth the money.

This is my second LG OLED 65” smart TV. The 2018 model I bought in 2019 has maxed out its software updates. Having said that, I wanted to download some more streaming apps that required a higher software version. This 2025 model was exactly what I wanted. I downloaded all of the streaming apps that I wanted and am super pleased. The picture quality is fantastic. Setup is quite simple. Not a big fan of AI and was very grateful that it can be disabled. Still “tweaking” my personal settings, but overall incredibly satisfied. FYI…I have this interfaced with my surround sound system as the TV speakers are a bit on the weak side for my liking. Side note: I got this for about 50% off at the time. Win Win!

Love this oled tv. The features are far beyond my old Sony. Thecremore is simpler, faster, and can even operate like a mouse. The picture is truly amazing. I was told oleds are not very bright - nonsense, this is just as bright as others - and with far better colors. I find myself playing hdr videos on youtube just to marvel at the vivid colors and absolute blacks. Best TV I've ever had.

We bought a 65” LG OLED AI to sit on top of our fireplace mantle because our Samsung died after just 3 years of owning it from brand new. I am not a Samsung fan at all. This TV is much better in my opinion. The picture is phenomenal. It’s very thin and light weight and it makes our LG sound bar that we purchased 3 years ago sound even better with the AI sound. It’s super easy to use and the quality is great for the nice price. The remote is very user friendly also. All in all I highly recommend this TV.

Fantastic experience from start to finish! The 65” LG B5 OLED is absolutely stunning — crystal-clear picture, rich colors, and deep blacks that make everything look incredible. The Advanced Tilt wall mount is solid, sleek, and works perfectly. The installation was smooth and professional. The installer was on time, knowledgeable, and mounted the TV securely and perfectly level. The whole process was stress-free, and the final result looks amazing. Best Buy made it easy to get a premium TV and professional installation all in one place. Highly recommend!

I was looking for a TV to replace an older 75" LED in the bedroom, read a ton of reviews before pulling the trigger on this one. I own a 77" LG C1 and it's magnificent, and I wanted something along those lines, but the C5 price was a little steep for the usage (mostly TV/streaming, little to no gaming). The B5 is a gorgeous compromise, got it for a relative steal and it's leagues beyond the LED it replaced. Snappy interface, clean remote, picture is near-perfect out of the box (bright as heck for OLED too), and even the sound was impressive, which is usually the weakest aspect of any new TV purchase nowadays. I always recommend LG TV's to my friends and coworkers, and this purchase just further strengthens my preference for them. Amazing!

Amazing picture quality with perfect blacks, vibrant colors, and excellent contrast. Movies and games look incredible, and motion is super smooth. The design is sleek, though the built-in speakers are just okay. Overall, a premium TV that’s absolutely worth it for the picture quality alone.

best bang for the buck. best looking tv at that price range and once you go OLED, you don't go back. Amazing pic, everything looks good. Movies, football, 8k youtube videos. hard to believe they make better than this really. I had the brighter one and it hurt my eyes, this one is perfect.

My previous TV was a 50 inch Samsung QLED that only lasted 3.5 years. The 65 inch LG OLED, to my eye, isn't a significantly better picture quality - not sure if that's because of the content I've been viewing or because the larger size makes imperfections more obvious. Content that is less than 4k doesn't look very good - perhaps there are TVs that "upscale" the resolution a little better than this one. After researching/experimenting with settings, I have the picture on "Cinema" mode which looks the best to my eyes in terms of brightness/colors, as some of the other modes look clownishly oversaturated. I found also that turning up "sharpness" above the 10% default makes things look worse (more artificial/blocky). Content that is 4k looks nice. The brightness is more than enough for me, in a room that doesn't have lot of natural light. The TV doesn't play nicely with my Samsung soundbar. The options are to connect via optical cable, which makes controlling sound with the LG remote apparently impossible, or connecting via BlueTooth, which is glitchy as it randomly disconnects sometimes. You can use TV speakers and soundbar together but i havent found any way to make them sync properly/consistently across all content, so I just use soundbar only. The built-in speakers are a little better than some TVs but not as good as a soundbar/subwoofer setup. The OS is intuitive enough but it seems a little slow and laggy, and a little clunky to get through menu options for settings. The "magic remote" is terrible as the same button is used to "select" as to scroll, making accidental scrolls happen all the time. 65" is significantly more awkward to transport and install than a 50" TV, especiallu where they recommemt you DO NOT lay it flat. Had to prop it upright (and somewhat precariously) in the bed of my truck - might be tough to fit inside SUVs. The TV is also razor thin - like 5 mm for most of the screen area. I was afraid i was going to break it but managed to move it in place and mount it with help (definitely not a solo job). It is only a few mms thicker around the edge and with a more boxy area toward the lower center of the back. Overall, in not really sure that this was the best 65" TV for the money, or if it would have been better to spend more on a higher end OLED or to just get QLED/mini-LED type at a lower price point.
