Bad customer service
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wish I could write about this product but unfortunately I have not received it yet! I ordered it in the store and now I am still waiting. Originally it was scheduled for a store delivery of October 15, then when I called the customer service number located overseas to ask to have the item delivered to my residence, the representative cancelled my order. I would not have discover that the item was cancelled had I not called to confirm my change. When I asked to have it reinstated, the representative said it would not arrive until November 1st. I am hoping this will become a reality. I received an email stating that the delivery is delayed and that Best Buy is attempting to get the delivery on the anticipated delivery date. Let's see.

**FAIR WARNING** AWFUL EXPERIENCE
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.**FAIR WARNING** I have had nothing but issues with the LG OLEDS. I had a LG-C2 that lasted a little over a year. Then one day, it would not power on anymore. The red standby light would be present, but no picture. I replaced it with this LG-C3 and THE SAME EXACT ISSUES happened a little over 2 months after purchase, but shortly before the power issue, I had black horizontal lines over my screen that would come and go. Now my TV randomly powers off, wont turn on for a few hours. then comes back on and rinse and repeat. Yes it is still under warranty, but my oh my, the LG customer service has been absolutely incompetent during this warranty process. You have to go through them before you can go through best buy.. so you are stuck with LG for at least a year before the best buy geek squad kicks in. LG sent a service crew out after a couple of weeks. They got there..and GREAT, the tv turns on normally during their visit, and because my issues are intermittent and not always present. they had to write the ticket off like my TV has no issues. As soon as they left, boom. tv power shuts off. cant turn it back on, send a video of it to LG and the tv service repair people. But the TV repair company said it would cost me 315.00 for my next visit. Called and spoke with 3 LG customer service agents. all of whom said they would put in a new ticket for repair services so I dont have to pay the insane fee, but only one of them actually did it. and it took 1 hour and 10 minutes on the phone to get it done..this does not include the other conversation I had with the people WHO DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. now i have to wait and see if the TV service repair, will still charge me for this new ticket or not. Its absolutely infuriating. I will continue to not have any TV in house through this miserable process and who knows if it will ever get fixed. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY COMMON ISSUE. GOOGLE "LG C3 WONT TURN ON, REDDIT" If i can save one person from buying this TV. I will feel better about this whole thing.

Great TV!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the quality of the TV. Wish there were a few more native apps (ESPN+, etc) but that's a LG issue overall.

Nice TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice tv but the brightness was too dark for my liking so I exchanged it for the Sony A95L and couldn't be happier.

OVERHYPED TV that didn't live up to the reviews.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If your a peek brightness kind of TV viewer then don't get this. The best thing about this is the 4 HDMI 2.1 ports. The LG software is clunky and doesn't support some apps that I watch on the daily. The remote is interesting but isn't practical and feels cheap. Although it tries its best to protect the screen having to switch off all those "features" off to get a "good" viewing experience is annoying. The audio also stopped working the first night. I had to figure out via the internet on how to fix it. Watch out for the AI asking you to pick out pictures to color tone the tv to your eyes. That AI can shift the tones in a nasty way if you click on the wrong ones. With HISENSE, TCL, VIZIO, SAMSUNG, and SONY offering some of the same features for less it maybe time to shift the price down a notch. I think I will wait a couple of generations before revisiting OLED again.

LG WebOS is onerous
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.19 Oct 2024, I have had this TV for nearly 1 year now. I do not recommend an LG TV because the WebOS on my LG OLED is terrible with constant updates and no way to shut off the pestering update notifications. BestBuy is a great place to purchase a TV, so no reflection on Best Buy. The LG OLED TV itself is fine, it is the operating system that is the problem. Often, I use Roku to stream because the LG app system is such a pain. I cannot use the TV without signing into an LG account and agreeing to all kinds of crap of no relevance to me.

Posted .Hi, Jim. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the LG TV (OLED65C3PUA) model. We appreciate your feedback regarding the WebOS experience and the update notifications you’ve encountered. We aim to offer top-notch products and excellent services to ensure a smooth experience. To manage update notifications, we recommend checking the settings within the WebOS menu, as there may be options to adjust how updates are handled.
