To address this, you can try adjusting the settings in the TV’s menu. Go to Settings > Picture > Picture Mode Settings > Energy Saving and make sure it is set to Off. This should help disable the auto brightness feature.

I just bought the LG C4 in 2025 and its absolutely amazing. The color is intense, the brightness is consistent and looks great. I love this TV. I have the setting on filmmaker mode and sound on Cinema. I didn't care for the AI sound. I also removed the ads settings. It was really easy to set up. Amazing price for an amazing tv!!

Our older LG set started to lose backlighting in spots, and we didn't realize how much loss of quality we had until we saw the new set. The operating system is much faster. It was simple to set up over our wireless network and simple to connect our soundbar. It wasn't the top of the line that we viewed in store but it was within our budget and has a very nice quality picture and sound for the price.

Im partially hearing impaird because of an injury in Vietnam . THE Clarity & brightness also surprised me as I also have Macular & cataract issues . Watching the Masters Golf tournament was Spectacular. One of my alltime great purchases .

I didn’t give five stars because the sound could use a boost—consider a soundbar—and the remote isn’t as good as the previous version.

After driving 40+ miles to get it, and unfortunately the stand was missing. Please check that everything that is says belongs is there before taking it home. I tried to return to my local store unfortunately the first associate told me I couldnt return it there and I needed to go to the original store. I spoke to Best Buy costumer service said that as long as I didnt purchase it at an outlet its returnable anywhere. I went back to my local store and the manager assisted me. Hoewever it’s unfortunate that they had me going in circles and feeling like I did something wrong.

Worked great for the first 8 days. After that the screen went black and got 4 flashing red lights. Tried to reset it with no success. Have Best Buy Total Care Plus. Called them and they said I had to deal with LG first. After a couple days the TV screen did come up on its own. LG will not send anyone now to check it out because of that. This makes me nervous that this will just happen again. Very disappointing that this happened after days. Make sure you get an extended warranty with any tv you get from them.
