Customers are saying
Customers enjoy the amazing picture quality and great OLED quality for the price of the 65" Class C5 Series OLED evo AI 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2025). The TV has perfect brightness in both dim and bright environments and is easy to use. The TV also has great black levels and refresh rates, and a very thin design that fits nicely on the wall. However, some customers feel the magic remote is overrated.

Frustrating OS!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Partially defective. Firmware is giving me headaches since new trying to get it working. The physical components seem to work except for failing to retain settings or ignoring some settings. Unable to use the TV or Network functions so instead using an old (but working) independent tuner with decent results. Maybe I will try to update the OS to a newer version when it comes out in hopes it corrects the problems. I have attempted to do a complete system reset and firmware reload several times but the problems persist. This LG is basically being used as a computer monitor now. No TV or web functions. It IS great in that monitor role.

Posted .Hi there, Estonia. We understand your inquiry regarding the LG - 65" Class C5 Series OLED evo AI 4K UHD Smart webOS TV. We appreciate you sharing your experience and the steps you've already taken, including the system reset and firmware reload. We understand that the TV is currently not meeting your expectations regarding the webOS and network functions.
A simple step that can sometimes resolve issues with retained settings is to perform a power cycle.
Basic Troubleshooting Step:
Unplug the TV from the wall outlet for at least 60 seconds.
While the TV is unplugged, press and hold the power button on the TV itself for 30 seconds (this helps drain any residual power).
Plug the TV back in and turn it on to see if your settings are retained.

Posted .Hi, Rachell. Thanks for sharing your feedback with us. We're thrilled to hear you're enjoying the stunning picture quality of your LG TV (OLED65C5PUA) model. It's truly a standout display. However, we understand that using the Magic Remote with your TV provider can be a bit tricky, and we’d love to help make it easier. You can try programming the Magic Remote using the Device Connector feature found in the TV’s settings menu. This tool helps link external devices, such as cable boxes, and guides you through the setup steps. Buyer beware of the LG C5 Series OLED evo AI 4K UH
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I returned the first one of these which I paid for installation. The colors in many instances had "blotches" on the face of individuals. Sometimes bright red and sometimes green. My son who has a Masters in Optical Engineering was able to adjust some of the issues but not all. I asked for and had a second installed yesterday. Unfortunately it has the same issue. I asked for he geek squad to come fix and have an appointment on the 12th of November (the first available). Buyer beware of this product in you watch a lot. It will drive you nuts.

Posted .Hi, William. Thank you for sharing your experience with the LG TV (OLED65C5PUA) model. We understand investing in a premium TV and encounter persistent display issues, especially after multiple replacements and adjustments.
The blotchy color artifacts you're describing — especially on faces — may be related to color banding or tone mapping inconsistencies, which can sometimes occur with certain content sources or settings. Disable Noise Reduction and TruMotion: These features can sometimes introduce unwanted artifacts. Go to Settings > Picture > Picture Options and turn off Noise Reduction, MPEG Noise Reduction, and TruMotion. Disappointed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The tv screen has several very shallow 2” diameter dents in it. You can’t really see them when the tv is on. However, you can see them on the black screen when the tv is off in my bright sunlit room. They seem to be symmetrical so I am assuming they happened in the manufacturing process. The tv was packed nicely and the box was not damaged.

Posted .Hi, Rick. Thank you for sharing the details about your LG TV (OLED65C5PUA) model. We appreciate the careful observations you’ve made regarding the shallow dents on the screen.
For an initial step, we recommend performing a panel test using the built-in screen test feature. This will help confirm whether the marks are affecting picture quality or if they are only visible when the TV is off. You can access this by going to: Settings > All Settings > Support > Screen Self-diagnosis.
If the dents do not impact the display during operation, the TV should continue to function normally. For more information on care and maintenance of OLED panels, you can visit our official LG support page here: https://www.lg.com/us/support. If you’d like us to review this further, please send us an email at lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com so we can assist you directly. ^Juvy

The TV was never delivered.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Due to the size of the tv I purchased the $199 delivery option. The delivery was to take place 12 days later. They never showed up. After hours of being placed on hold and dealing with unhelpful customer service reps the delivery date was rescheduled to a date 14 days in the future. I cancelled the order. Amazon can deliver the same TV at the same price in 2 days with no shipping costs.

Horrible return policy and price match.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ridiculous 15 day return and price match policy. I was trying to price match a TV that I purchased 3 weeks ago and was politely told too bad too sad for you. 15 days is not a normal return/price match policy in America. This is ridiculous. I am never buing anything again from Best Buy and don't recommend you to purchase anything from there either. So many store out there carrying the same items with normal 30 day return policy and price match. Hatred and contempt!

Posted .Hello there, Kurtis. Thanks for sharing your experience with the OLED65C5PUA. We understand how unexpected it can be to encounter a recurring sound issue, especially after replacing the unit.
The beeping or buzzing you're describing may be related to thermal expansion or internal cabinet vibration, which can occur as the TV warms up during use. LG OLED TVs are built with advanced materials that can expand slightly with heat, sometimes producing subtle noises. This is not a defect, and to know more about this, here is a link you may visit: https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-oled-tv-popping-or-crackling-noise--20154713282499
We’d be glad to assist you further and explore additional solutions if needed. You may send us an email at lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com, and our team will be ready to help.
