Cancelled order
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sorry, we ended up cancelling the order. Miscommunication with salesperson. My 90 yr old mother in law and wife were under the impression delivery charges included TV set up. Not true so we cancelled order.

Unfortunately had dts and dolby vision removed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. No dts anymore, and no dolby vision on chip anymore means this tv is completely worthless. Dolby is a joke when it comes to consumers. They are always trying to squeeze their customers for every last penny they have it seems like.

Posted .Hi, there. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the LG TV (OLED65C5PUA) model. We understand your concern about the expected features like DTS audio support or Dolby Vision compatibility don't align with current content or device needs. Our goal is to create high-quality products that really meet our customers' needs and expectations. This model does offer amazing picture quality thanks to its α9 Intelligent Processor and OLED panel, but we understand that keeping up with evolving formats is important for many users.
Just to clarify, this model does support Dolby Vision! However, some external devices or streaming content might need specific HDMI settings or firmware updates to work perfectly. You can check by going to Settings > Picture > HDMI ULTRA HD Deep Color and making sure it’s turned on for the HDMI ports you’re using. As for DTS, while recent LG models don’t have native DTS audio decoding anymore, you can still enjoy DTS playback by using a compatible AV receiver or soundbar.
We’d love to help you set everything up and get the most out of your TV! Feel free to send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport so we can assist you further. Take care! ^ Juvy

Do not buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is essentially useless now, with no DTS support and no longer having Dolby Vision on the chip. Dolby seems to prioritize squeezing every last cent from consumers rather than delivering consistent value.

Posted .Hello there, Andy. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand your inquiry regarding audio and video format support on the OLED65C5PUA. The C5 Series supports a wide range of premium features, including Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, though it's important to ensure your connected devices and content sources are also compatible and properly configured. If you're experiencing playback limitations, we recommend checking the TV’s audio output settings under Settings > Sound > Advanced Settings to ensure the proper formats are enabled, and confirming that HDMI-connected devices are using cables rated for high-speed or HDMI 2.1. We'd be happy to look into your setup in more detail—please send us a private message on social media @LGUSSupport so we can assist you directly. —Renzo
