Picture is not clear. Fuzzy at times. Colors not vibrant. Not at all like the TV in the show room. Also the screen is very warm. Geek squad coming Sept. 9 to see what is going on. Disappointed with the TV. Hoping it can be fixed.

They sell defective products. I purchased a LG OLED TV and it turned defective, keeps making beeping noise and turns off every 5 minutes. And returning it is a pain.

Hi, Rohit. Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your LG TV (OLED65C5PUA) model.

We understand the importance of an immersive and uninterrupted viewing experience, especially with a high-performance OLED display. Beeping and sudden power-offs can sometimes be triggered by external power issues or internal safety shut-offs. Before proceeding with a return, please try a Hard Power Reset and check the Power Settings to rule out a software or environment-related glitch. Easy setup. Awesome picture! Lots of available options to tailor the picture to your tastes, or easy to use a standard preset. I used Google Gemini for recommended settings for SDR and HDR content, then customized to my preferences. This TV opened up a whole new world if HDR that my old set couldn’t touch. Don’t worry about brightness. I use the tv for sports in a relatively bright room and it works great.

Hello there, TonyR. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand that the picture frame feature on your LG - 65" Class C5 Series OLED evo AI 4K UHD Smart webOS TV does not remain on as long as you would prefer. We understand your inquiry and appreciate you bringing this specific operational setting to our attention. This feature, often part of the Art Gallery or Ambient Mode, is typically designed with a setting to manage the display time, which helps to conserve energy and prevent image retention on the OLED panel.
To adjust the duration that the picture frame or gallery mode stays on, the simple step we can advise you to try is accessing the TV's power-saving or general settings menu. Look for the "Screen Saver," "Power Saving," or "OLED Panel Settings" section, where you should find an option to adjust the timer for the Art Gallery or picture mode. By increasing this time limit, you should be able to keep the display of your framed pictures constant for a longer period. We are committed to helping you optimize the TV's features to perfectly suit your viewing preferences.

Hello there, Kurtis. Thanks for sharing your experience with the OLED65C5PUA. We understand how unexpected it can be to encounter a recurring sound issue, especially after replacing the unit.

The beeping or buzzing you're describing may be related to thermal expansion or internal cabinet vibration, which can occur as the TV warms up during use. LG OLED TVs are built with advanced materials that can expand slightly with heat, sometimes producing subtle noises. This is not a defect, and to know more about this, here is a link you may visit: https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-oled-tv-popping-or-crackling-noise--20154713282499

We’d be glad to assist you further and explore additional solutions if needed. You may send us an email at lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com, and our team will be ready to help.

    Great picture but needs improvements

Picture can't be beat. There are some areas that could be improved. The sound system needs improvement. You can change settings based on what you're watching, but this is a pain. A sound bar is my next purchase. The remote is the biggest issue. Unless you have steady "surgeons" hands you find yourself on a screen you didn't mean to select. If you power down the TV completely, you have to wait 5 minutes weekly for screen maintenance.

This is the first TV I have purchased in several years. The internet had only good things to say about it and I must agree! Beautiful clear picture even seen with my aging eyes. Nice clear voices during dialog in the movies. Remote control feels good in my hands. (Not too big) But Not the easiest to use when you have painful joints. Too many buttons have multiple uses.

THE REMOTE IS NOT THE BEST - STEEP LEARNING CURVE

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

love our new tv. pixels / picture is amazing. clear and crisp viewing. Just the right size for our family room. CONS: The learning curve on how to use the controller is high. The vol buttons are not ideal and it takes a while to learn how to navigate hovering over the streaming service you want and clicking OK. You have to get your cursor over it directly - it is wonky. Forget search options and having to find that and type in search for - that sucks.

Deep, rich blacks and vibrant colors needed no adjustments out of the box. My 77C8 needed many hours of adjustments for both SDR and HDR resolutions to get the picture just right for our movie room.

Extremely pleased with picture quality and audio. LG has addressed the bright room issue well. The screen glare is almost as good as the QLED it replaced and audio from the set easily fills my moderate size room. Of course I’ll add a soundbar and sub later, but for I’m just enjoying the bright screen, rich colors and deep blacks OLED is famous for.

This LG C5 is replacing my Samsung S95B that only lasted 2.5 years before it completely failed. So glad I purchased the extended warranty. I have a bright living room that get natural light till sunset. I usually don’t turn it on till late afternoon and have no problem or issues watching TV. We also always have a light on in our living room when it gets dark and feel that this TV has a better picture than the Samsung. I’m also using a Samsung soundbar with it that is working flawlessly. I think that Samsung Q Symphony is overrated. It only worked sometimes and really didn’t add much to the sound.

Got a PS5 Pro? Get this TV!

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I bought this specifically for a PS5 Pro, it has met every requirement needed for it to get every feature. This is going to be the flagship TV for gaming when it comes to the “bang for your buck” for quite awhile. Incase anyone is checking for a XBOX Series X, it covers everything for that too. The notable features are: 120Hz (or more) Native Refresh Rate 2.1 HDMI Bandwidth Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) OLED (which is highly recommended) Dolby Vision (which offers more than HDR10) You’ll want to check your settings on both the TV and your consoles to make sure you’re set up properly of course. Not just video games, but movies look absolutely wonderful. Even older movies can be upscaled to look way better than before. I don’t see much of a jump in technology from here. This really is it. I probably won’t upgrade my TV for a long time. It’s everything I’ve dreamed of, and more. A side note to anyone looking at Samsung TVs. They do NOT offer Dolby Vision.
