First OLED and I wanted one of the best. It did not disappoint. This is my third LG and the menu is not the most intuitive but I've adjusted over time. Magic remote is probably overrated given I've had it on multiple tv sets. I'm awaiting some more software updates but the rest of the tv is great and that is what matter most

The LG C5 65-inch OLED TV (2025) delivers vibrant colors, perfect blacks, and a brightness boost with the Alpha 9 Gen 8 processor. Ideal for gaming with 144Hz, HDMI 2.1, G-Sync, and FreeSync. WebOS 25 is intuitive; audio needs a soundbar. Priced at $2,699, it’s a top mid-range pick

I didn’t buy a TV—I adopted a portal into another dimension. The LG 65” C5 OLED evo AI has officially ruined every other screen in my house. My old TV now looks like it’s been smeared with Vaseline compared to this one.
The picture quality is jaw-dropping. Blacks are so deep I thought the screen was off, and the colors are so vibrant I half expect my living room to start charging admission. Watching movies feels like the director is sitting next to me, whispering, “Yes, this is exactly how I wanted you to see it.”
The AI upscaling is wizardry. Even older shows look fresh, as if they’ve been hitting the gym and drinking kale smoothies. I rewatched a DVD from the early 2000s and suddenly noticed background details I never knew existed—like that extra who clearly didn’t know the camera was rolling.
Gaming? Absolute beast. No lag, no blur—just buttery smooth gameplay that makes me feel more skilled than I actually am (until I still manage to lose).
And let’s talk about sound. The built-in audio is shockingly good for a TV this thin. It’s like LG took a soundbar, squished it flat, and said, “Here, this will blow your mind.”
The webOS interface is snappy and smart enough to make me wonder if it’s judging my late-night binge choices. And yes, it comes with every streaming app you can think of—plus a few you’ll never admit to using.
Bottom line: If you’re on the fence, just know this TV is a dangerous upgrade. You’ll suddenly find yourself canceling plans just to “test the picture quality one more time.” And honestly? Worth it.

This LG 65" C5 OLED has transformed our family’s viewing experience and is an easy product to recommend to anyone considering an upgrade. The picture is exceptionally sharp and vibrant, and the built‑in speakers deliver clear, full sound that makes movies, sports, and everyday TV feel more immersive.
The smart remote and voice controls make navigation effortless, whether you are searching for a show, changing inputs, or adjusting settings, and you can manage everything from your phone in seconds. Switching audio between the TV speakers and an external receiver and fine‑tuning the picture—from an ultra‑smooth effect to a cinematic filmmaker mode—takes only a few clicks, so the TV quickly adapts to any room or preference.
Even with modern HDMI and optical connections, setting up older equipment like a VCR, legacy receiver, or classic game console was surprisingly simple, which means you can keep using the devices you already love instead of replacing them. For a mid‑range price, this TV offers premium performance, user‑friendly controls, and compatibility with both new and older gear, making it a highly compelling choice for families and home‑entertainment enthusiasts alike.
Better than Samsung equal, but weak remote control

Positives:
1--We can actually see things in movies that the blacks of our Samsung could now show us. Brighter too.
2--Better picture quality than Samsung.
3--Less glare is a plus.
4---Trying to get rid of TVs with bad backlighting. Last 2 Samsungs had them go out due to this problem. We hope this OLED technology does not do that.
Negatives
1--Weak remote control.
2--The remote has a wheel on it that is very touchy. We can predict that the remote wheel will be the first thing to go bad.
3--Wheel curser hard to steady & control. Comes on at inopportune times.
4--The enter function should be separate from the wheel functions. A lot of over-use issues for one button.

The LG OLED Evo TV was very easy to set up and has a beautiful picture and I was also surprised at the quality of the TV speakers - although we have since tied it to a receiver for audio. Recommended and very happy with it. I do wish the main menu of selections - streaming services and cables were a little easier to navigate.

I wanted this tv but couldn't buy it until my old tv died. It's my rule. Lucky for me, a lightning bolt took out my Sony mini-led. The Sony had a 'good' picture, but IMO the LG EVO has the better picture by far. I have another LG EVO in another room for over a year now. One of the tv's is connected with ethernet and the other via Wi-Fi. I've had zero issues from either tv. WEBOS is easy to navigate. My only complaints are the 'new' cheap feeling remote and the stupid dancing cursor thingy I detest. LG did take a step back with the new remote. Hopefully they'll change it back to the previous style which was really good. I can't speak to the sound quality since I've hooked it up to my soundbar since day 1. Knowing what I know now I'd buy this tv again in a heartbeat.

Huge improvement over my 2017 WebOS TV that would randomly lock up or reboot on its own. OLED displays do not disappoint. Viewing angle is the biggest benefit in my wide-ish living space. Picture clarity is amazing with my AppleTV content. Built-in speakers are adequate and usable, but my external receiver setup is still much better. Still not a WebOS fan, but I spent a little time with it and was able to remove all the unwanted noise and made it easy to find my frequent selections which is just LiveTV and AppleTV. "AI" tuning the picture to your liking seems little gimmicky, but it does work, you can go nuts with it if you want. Would not have paid original price, but recent fall sales make it very attractive.

The LG OLED 65" TV is by far the best TV I have ever owned. The picture is extremely sharp and has very high resolution. The colors are vibrant and the blacks perfect. Highly recommended/

This is my first OLED TV. I love everything about this TV except the remote is a bit challenging to use... so I connected my Apple TV to use its remote... and the sound quality was pretty good until I connected the Soundbar... OMG.. you have to get this along, it's night and day... Sound is way way better.

After about one month of use, I can say that this is the nicest TV I've ever owned in terms of picture quality and viewing experience. Unboxing and setup were relatively easy.
The only negative related to this purchase/product was that I earned several rebate certificates, and the store associates and customer service completely misled me about when they would be available and when they would expire. They told me that they would be available to use after the return window for the TV had closed. When that time came around, the certs had already expired and I lost the chance to apply over $100 to a future purchase.

Excellent television. Been eyeballing an OLED for quite a while, and this one was the perfect blend of true darks without too much gloss in the reflection. The 65in was also the perfect size for my living space. Any more or less and it wouldn't feel quite right. The speakers are also quite impressive, no real need at the moment for an external speaker system.

I've been wanting an OLED TV for quite some time. Thanks to the Labor Day sale I was able to finally sweep this bad boy up. Dolby Vision on an OLED TV like this is absolutely epic! The colors are so vibrant and the picture is perfectly bright. This TV works perfectly as an ARC setup with my 7.2 home theatre receiver. The screen itself is so thin it's mind blowing how far LG has come with these TVs. 4k BluRays looking absolutely amazing and it's like being at an AMC Dolby Cinema theatre. I highly recommend this product! <3

I’ve owned several LG TVs over the years, and they’ve always impressed me. But the C5 OLED takes things to another level. The picture quality is simply stunning, with perfect blacks, colors, and sharp details. HDR content really pops, and even in bright rooms it holds up well. Gaming on this TV is also fantastic. The interface is quick and intuitive. Sound is surprisingly good for a slim TV, though I still suggest pairing it with a soundbar. Easily the best TV I’ve ever owned.

This is my first LG OLED. I have three Samsung TV's that I've been happy with but thought I would go with the LG this time. Glad I did. Great picture and details. Awesome colors. Remote not a big deal like some people are saying. Just a slight learning curve.

I previously owned an LG UHD 65" TV purchased in 2019 and decided to upgrade to this OLED during the Labor Day promotion. So glad I did. The picture is a night and day difference from my previous LG (which I loved). The 4K is gorgeous, the colors pop and the black is black and I utilized the new adjustments using the AI feature to get the exact picture that fits in my room/lighting. Amazing.
I highly recommend this TV and the price I got it at $1450 was worth every penny.
