Upgraded from a C2, the best part of the upgrade is the brightness level in a well lit room. Other than that, it's an OLED, watching movies at night is a amazing experience.

My first ever OLED tv. The contrast is excellent. Blacks are very deep. The picture setting options are abundant and you can really fine tune this tv. The remote is very minimalist but has everything you need. Highly recommend!

Everyone said that the OLED TVs were dim but this one is brighter than my regular LED Samsung. Colors are super vibrant, blacks are solid with zero pixilation. Well worth the wxtra money.

This LG 65" C5 OLED has transformed our family’s viewing experience and is an easy product to recommend to anyone considering an upgrade. The picture is exceptionally sharp and vibrant, and the built‑in speakers deliver clear, full sound that makes movies, sports, and everyday TV feel more immersive.
The smart remote and voice controls make navigation effortless, whether you are searching for a show, changing inputs, or adjusting settings, and you can manage everything from your phone in seconds. Switching audio between the TV speakers and an external receiver and fine‑tuning the picture—from an ultra‑smooth effect to a cinematic filmmaker mode—takes only a few clicks, so the TV quickly adapts to any room or preference.
Even with modern HDMI and optical connections, setting up older equipment like a VCR, legacy receiver, or classic game console was surprisingly simple, which means you can keep using the devices you already love instead of replacing them. For a mid‑range price, this TV offers premium performance, user‑friendly controls, and compatibility with both new and older gear, making it a highly compelling choice for families and home‑entertainment enthusiasts alike.

Love the TV. Easy to set up, looks sleek, and the picture sound is a big step up from our old Samsung led tv. Which died. A long, horrible death. But, that's another story.
Wanted to give 5.0, because the tv merits that in my opinion.
The remote [mr25ga] however, eats an entire star. The worst feature is the scroll wheel used for selecting, scrolling, and increasing m my anxiety any time I have to use it. This thing was either designed in a vacuum without any user testing, or the testing groups used were selected on the basis of whether they had rabies or significant cognitive impairment. It truly is horrible.

I am so excited I went to Best Buy again to but my products. This trip we bought an Oled 65" TV and it is outstanding. We were greeted right away and told all the options about the televisions we were looking at. It wasn't hard to choose this TV. The color is so clear. Beautiful levels of contrast, like you can step into the picture. Such an immersive viewing experience. The techs that came to install our TV were kind and professional and most of all helpful. They walked me through everything. They left with no questions left unanswered. Thank you Best Buy. We will keep coming back.

Beautiful television thus far, been a couple months. The picture is stunning. This television is replacing an older Vizio LED which is the main viewing tv in the house. The LG runs several hours per day and time will tell. But right now if I purchase another television it'd be this brand and model. Currently, I believe the cost for quality is optimal in this brand and model. Not sure why I would pay a lot more for an extremely high end model.

Tv is very nice the remote is the downside no mute button which is disappointing and the remote it set up like a mouse that is hard to adapt to after having a standard remote for so many years

Great Smart TV. Picture quality is super. The remote is a little tricky specially since not instruction manual for it or the TV. Would be nice if they had an instruction manual in the box for both. The so called instruction manual on the website is useless. But the TV is great just have to mess around getting everything the way I want.

Awesome picture. I like this TV set. Only issue with it is that the screen is not anti-glare (matt-finish), but TVs set are now designed that way, to enhance picture vividness and contrast colors with deeper blacks, and this set's black is phenomenal!

Stunning picture, smart upgrades, but still not perfect
I’ve been using the LG 65” C5 OLED for a bit now, and overall it’s an excellent TV—but it’s not flawless, especially at this price.
Picture quality is the star.
OLED still beats almost everything else, and the C5 delivers deep blacks, incredible contrast, and rich colors without looking oversaturated. HDR content looks fantastic, and brightness is improved over older C-series models, though it’s still not the brightest TV in a very sunny room.
Great for gaming.
If you game on PS5, Xbox Series X, or PC, this TV is outstanding. HDMI 2.1 on all ports, 4K at 120Hz, VRR, and extremely low input lag. It just works, no tweaking headaches.
webOS is good, not great.
The interface is fast and responsive, but it’s still cluttered with ads and suggestions. AI features are mostly hit-or-miss—some picture and sound adjustments help, others feel unnecessary. It’s fine once set up, but not the cleanest smart TV experience.
Sound is average.
The built-in speakers are acceptable for casual viewing but lack bass and depth. For a premium TV, a soundbar is almost a must if you care about audio quality.
Design and build are excellent.
Thin, premium-looking, and fits nicely in modern setups. The stand is sturdy, and wall mounting looks great.
Bottom line:
The LG C5 OLED is an outstanding TV for movies and gaming with top-tier picture quality. It loses a point for average audio, a busy smart interface, and premium pricing. If you want one of the best-looking TVs available and can add a soundbar, it’s easy to recommend.
Would I buy it again? Yes—but only if found on sale

We wanted to replace our bedroom TV and had just bought the 77 inch version of this TV and loved it. It was between a TCL or Hisense initially. We didn't need as high-end for the bedroom as for downstairs. One day we caught this TV at a very competitive price for BB "Total" members. The purchase at Best Buy was smooth. Setup instructions were easy.
We use a home theater setup on our 77" downstairs but use just the TV speakers on this 65" in the bedroom and was quite surprised that the TV sound is actually very good compared to most other TVs.
The LG Smart Remote with its screen pointing takes a little getting used to but you can use the scroll wheel and buttons to use the remote in a more conventional manner. There's also a smartphone app that has a remote feature that works well.
All in all, I don't know how I would make this TV experience any better.
