Was living in hotels for 18 months, wanted a Great TV to settle into a new place to call home. Was impressed with the picture, compared it to the Sony new OLED and didn't see much difference. The cost made the decision easier and haven't had any regrets. I didn't know what a smart TV was until this purchase, it connects very quickly to the Comcast Modem via wifi. No need for cables or other clutter. Very happy with the purchase.

So I been wanting a OLED TV for a while now but couldn't think of reason to spend $4,000 on tv. I knew the specs and whole 9 yards. But last time when I was at the store the guy worked with me a got me a awesome deal on this TV along with best LG sound bar and 4k DVD player. Couldn't walk away from that deal so I end up buying it and haven't regretted it at all. I would recommend everyone to get this TV cuz it will surpass ur hopes...

This TV is beautiful and great colors. The movement is still a little choppy but overall I am happy with it. Would get 5 stars but the remote and menus are a pain as well as the constant updates.

TV is incredible. Vibrant Color; picture is crisp contrast, and the weight is good. Sound is not so good. I added a sound bar so it’s resolved that issue. It was tricky to find a table mount because of there back and the ones from LG focus on wall mount. I got one at amazon that swirled and I’m all set. I’m not a shopper of this regularly and consider it an investment to last for many years. So pleased I did. There was a lag with the sound sync with a first product I purchased. I exchanged it for another one and it seemed to be good so far. However I did read issues with this from others so it’s a gamble but I don’t regret my purchase at all. Beautiful.

I had the 55C6PUA and unfortunately the screen encountered the problem that the 2016 models had besides the burn in, it had a line on the middle of the screen and being that it was curved it was very noticeable. They changed the board on the TV and that made it worse and caused multiple lines. Geek Squad verified that the screen could not be fixed and so they approved me for a new one. Before I go on I highly recommend the Geek Squad Protection Plans on any electronics because if I didn't have it I would have been out of quite a chunk of money because OLED's are not cheap. Back to my story, I went ahead and did the exchange, paid the difference for the 65C8PUA, this TV all I can say in order to describe it is WOW, The upgrades that they have done with the new chips and the WebOS, this TV is amazing and smart. If you are very picky about your picture quality and want nothing but the best from Best Buy, get yourself one of these babies, it may seem painful at the register but once it is in your house and you are in your comfy chair, you will not be concerned about how much you paid, you will understand why you paid that much and the TV pays for itself because you will be hooked.

Set this up recently for an upgrade to my home theater set-up, and the picture looks great. The only drawback is the lack of apps on the LG WebOS system, however I primarily use AppleTV for any 4K/Atmos programming so the lack of apps is not too much of a drawback. I am now considering another LG for my second bedroom due to how well this TV has performed.

Now is one of the best times to pick up a new TV and if your going to get one you might as well get an OLED. With the C9 just launching now is the best time to pick up some good deals on the C8. It has some of the best and cleanest quality picture i have ever seen. I don't think I will go back to anything else. The sound is amazing for being stock sound on a TV. TLDR; Buy this tv you will enjoy it!

This TV had the best picture quality of any I’ve ever seen. I am deaf, have Cochlear Implants, and at the time of this purchase I had to plug a device into the headphone jack of the TV in order to stream the sound to my implants. I explained this to the salesperson and he assured me this TV had a headphone jack. He even took a mini audio cable out of a drawer to show me the type of cable it accepts. Unfortunately, after having the TV delivered and mounted, I discovered it does not have a headphone jack, rendering it useless to me and I had to return it.....but the image was spectacular.

Upgraded from a 55B6 and truly love the picture. My 3 yeard old OLED couldnt display dark scenes very well especially the Game Of Thrones dark episode. I went back and re-watched it again and now I can see what is going on. The only issue I have is the Automatic Black Level setting that can't be adjusted that will cause the screen to get darker during certain static lighter images such as the local news and ESPN SportsCenter. I understand they are trying to prevent burn-in, I just wish they would allow the customer to turn it off/on at their liking. Hope the new firmware will adjust it some. Anyway love the TV and very happy I got it.
