The blacks on this TV are amazing. I used to dim lights in the room with my old TV (LED) in order to watch movies that have lots of dark scenes. Now, this is no longer necessary. I love it!

I still have this great TV but moved to bedroom to make room for the 65" C8. The motion handling has improved a lot. The overall image processing of the C8 is much much better in the near-black areas. The C8 also provide better calibration adjustment controls.

I guess I am a bright vibrant tv guy and this was a $4000 dollar mistake on my part. Don’t purchase if you have a room with a decent amount of windows and light. Dark movies are also hard to see.

The video is clear as can be and as a surprise to us, the audio is surprisingly good and makes us wonder why we are using the small sound bar that we have. Would buy another LG OLED if I needed another TV.

Beware of burn in

Blacks are inky and just perfect. Once you ruin the tv with a little burn in you CAN NOT unsee it. Hopefully they perfect them in the next few years and I’ll try again.

Great picture with some problems

The first is for the first month a white Pixel would appear at the bottom of the screen. The second is the TV will periodical not turn on until I unplug it for 10 seconds and plug it back in. This issue has not yet been resolved

While I do miss the 3D capability of the C6, the C* does seem to handle the motion of sports programming much better. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

The Smart TV features are excellent including using the remote as pointer with red dot on screen showing whichever mode one wants to click. Also love the voice feature
