Have set to outside audio optical exclusively, and occasionally lose sound completely when switching between apps/cable, pausing, and fast-forwarding. To regain sound, so far, I've had to turn set on/off or reset audio selection in "advanced settings." I've also seen reviews mentioning "great sound"...but internal speakers are not good [particularly at this price], lowering overall sound quality when used with my home theater, which is why I have the internals off.
