Customers love the LG 65" Class CX Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2020) for its exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and smooth gaming experience. They appreciate the easy setup, thin design, and user-friendly remote control. While some find it expensive, many believe it's worth the investment. A few concerns mentioned include potential burn-in and the quality of the built-in speakers.

    Good but with flaws

This is a Beautiful tv but has some flaws. To begin the blacks are obviously great, brightness is good and the color feels accurate. The screen is thin and metal and has a sturdy base to hold it still. The things that bothered me was a grid pattern that shows up in bright scenes with white in them. Specifically things like sky’s and specular highlights. I’ve seen it on multiple cx panels. Another thing is banding and yellow tint, in 5% grey there is vertical lines and in scenes with grays it shows. I even saw a bluish blotch in the bottom right corner but it’s not seeable during films. I also noticed vertical banding going along the screen in Madagascar 2 and other films. That’s about it though, only real complaint while viewing is the grid pattern and banding that shows up during greys. which can be a pain when trying to enjoy content. For such an expensive tv though these issues should not be present and haven’t really been addressed much. I saw others having the same issue and even panel replacements seem to have the same thing but some are better than others. I heard it could be a scaling issue, not sure.

    65” Oled LG

Replaced a 5 year old 55 oled curved/3D with some burn-in issues. Geek couldn’t repair so they bought me a new one at 65” flat/no 3D (no longer available, no wonder they couldn’t fix the 55). The 55 still works so it’s in the bedroom now. So far this one is good also but I bought the Geek squad again. I used to be a Sony customer but LG has a better picture for less $$$.

I've been wanting to get an OLED TV for sometime and decided on this model. Wow! It's a major improvement from the LCD TV's I have had in the past. The backlights in LCD's I've owned always caused 'bleed' into black areas of the image. On this TV, there is NO bleed so black areas are black. Put a white image on the screen surrounded by a black background and there is NO bleed into the black. This makes for much sharper images..the difference is very noticeable even to me, a guy with 68 year old eyes. Oh, and I play video games too, and noticed no problems with display speeds but I can't guarantee that you younger folks will feel the same way. The TV offers many apps but I use Fire TV so I haven't explored this area and can't really comment on it. I had no difficulty using this TV or exploring it's settings/options, though I have always been deeply involved in technology throughout my career so this might not be true for you. Bottom line, now that I am home more because of the pandemic, I wanted a great TV experience and I got it.

Bought this for my living room a week after getting a 55" UN7300 for the master bedroom. I was really happy with the picture quality of the 7300 coming from an old 1080p. When I setup the CX, I was disappointed and couldn't tell the difference and thought about returning it for another 7300, but after a watching for a few hours, I went to continue the same show on the 7300 and now was able to see a big difference in picture quality. The CX was sharper and clearer. The CX wouldn't be worth the price for anyone coming from an old TV but if you already have an OLED or other 4K TV, this is an improvement. 1 star removed because the Alexa integration is way easier with my Sony OLED than my LG's

Just takes your next gen console like a Playstation 5 or a high end PC with a graphics card like the RTX 3080 to the next level. This is my second OLED as I bought a LG B6 65' four years ago. In comparison between the two - this new CX model blows my four year old B6 out the water in terms of gaming. But for media consumption such as movies... I can't tell the difference.

Wow this TV is awesome. We purchased to replace a 55" Samsung Smart TV that was starting to give us problems. It has a different look than our past sets. The blacks are really black and the colors are amazing. It is also the first television we have mounted to a wall. While my husband is looking forward to watching his sports I'm excited for the Hallmark Christmas Movies!

For $1800, you would expect a TV to have a great picture. This one does. It's worth the price. I am very pleased with the television overall, but have found what I believe is a bug in the software. LG customer service is working on it. However, they have referred the problem to the technical people and haven't found an answer in the last 10 days. I'm hoping they will soon.

This was my first TV purchase in a long time and I was stoked to finally experience OLED. This TV does not disappoint for movies, video games... you name it. Apps can be a little clunky but make for the better streaming experience compared to a Firestick or Roku (though you can easily use these as well).

It was time to replace my 1st generation LG OLED and I knew pretty much what I was going to get. Thankfully, Magnolia/Best Buy had this one in stock and delivered it within a few days. It's a great television in so many regards. Picture quality is amazing and sound is much improved over previous models. It's also really nice to have the AppleTV app - got to lose one device as a result!

Holy cow - I love this TV. OLED vs QLED was a hard decision but I think I chose very well with OLED. The picture is amazing and the sound is just as good. I got the LG 3.1 bundle and honestly think I wasted money on the sound bar. The TV is that capable. The only issue is its so crisp (especially dark and black scenes or games) older shows or movies will require playing with setting to dumb down the image. Thats a good thing in my opinion. Stick with streaming and consoles and you will not be disappointed. 4 stars though because of the stupid ads and reminders for software updates starting the second day you own the unit. If you can turn that crap off this tv would be 5 stars all the way.

Great tv.After a couple of weeks of having the Sony A8H I just wasn't all that impressed. My Sony Z9D was just as good if not better. So I returned and got the LG CX.What a difference.Picture has more pop and crispness.Gets much brighter as well.Interface is faster. My usb external hard drive responds much better and faster with the CX.LG wins hands down with this Oled.

Great picture! Replaced my plasma tv with this LG and the picture is very close. You can't go wrong with this model. Very shinny screen so you will see reflections of lights in the picture so you may need to turn off lamps etc. if that annoys you. Several picture modes to chose from, very easy to find one that suits what you are watching. Very happy with this purchase.

I could write a book on how pleased I am for taking the leap into OLED. I bought this TV to pair with my series x and I can't say I have a complaint. The picture quality is top notch. This the best TV I've ever owned. One thing is for sure, I can NEVER go with anything other than an OLED(until micro led comes out but that's a long ways away).

Upgraded to the 65CX from a lower-mid range 65” Sony Bravia led which had terrible blacks and near unwatchable HDR. Finally decided to get an OLED and from the first minute of watching a Dolby hdr video on it I was satisfied, no buyers remorse. One of the nicest pictures I’ve seen with a price that is not completely outrageous. You won’t be disappointed.
