Customers are saying

Customers love the LG 65" Class CX Series OLED 4K UHD Smart webOS TV (2020) for its exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and smooth gaming experience. They appreciate the easy setup, thin design, and user-friendly remote control. While some find it expensive, many believe it's worth the investment. A few concerns mentioned include potential burn-in and the quality of the built-in speakers.

What a fantastic picture. We upgraded from a Panasonic 60" Plasma TV to this new OLED TV from LG. The one negative thing I have is that the base/stand for the TV could be taller, it is not even tall enough for the sound bar to sit in front of the TV without blocking the ability for the remote to function properly.

We went from a 70 inch Vizio to this 65 inch LGO and we are very happy with our decision. Really can’t tell the difference other than hanging on the wall that there’s 5 inches but the picture is beautiful. dealing with Jack in Chesterfield Missouri and making our final purchase is definitely the way to go.

I watched Dr. Strange in 4k on this thing.....I seriously felt like I was tripping balls. The visuals are insane. If only my real life had the vivd colors of this TV, then maybe I wouldn't constantly wallow in the existential crisis that is my daily life.

Best picture I've ever seen. OLED is definitely as good as people make it out to be. My only problem was the price. But that's LG's call not Best Buy.

All I can say is wow. Coming from a plasma tv, I didn't think inky blacks could ever be better than a plasma. The lg oled has even better blacks than a plasma. The oled picture quality is superior in every way. So far very impressed, time will tell on reliability. Picked up geek squad protection just in case.

Got this gem on sale. Wasn’t looking for a tv but couldn’t pass it up. The picture is so nice it makes it tough to watch on another tv. Biggest issue is the tv is so thin. Makes no sense they didn’t support it better as just getting out of box into the stand was a major pain and could have been a disaster.

Upgrading from a B6 to utilize next-gen consoles with HDMI 2.1. Beautiful picture, easy set up, stylish TV. This model checks all the boxes! Debated waiting for the C1, but after seeing what changes were being made picking up the CX on sale made more sense. Very happy with my purchase and price/value.

This television has a beautiful picture and a wide angle of view. It was easy to set it up with a sound bar that provides excellent sound, so I can’t comment on the internal speakers. The picture shows excellent detail. Geek Squad staff set it up. They were great to work with and explained everything well.

I swapped my Samsung 75” QLED for this LG and I’m glad I did. The picture is more defined and the night scenes in shows and movies are clean and clear. With my eyes dark scenes are basically non descriptive but now I can tell what’s going on. I can see myself holding onto this tv for quite some time! Definitely recommend.

This TV has a fantastic picture and sound. I have not even set up my surround sound system yet. The picture is bright enough for a sun lit room and in a darkened room the picture pops. Best Buy delivery carried the TV from the street up 32 steps to our 3rd floor with out any damage to the TV or my house!

I love this TV so much I want to marry it! It has all the bells and whistle‘s of the most modern of TVs out there right now. The resolution on it is fantastic and the size of it it’s just right on the wall in my rather small living room. It is a centerpiece. And it makes my day very happy when I get to watch it.

This is more or less the best TV money can buy. There are a few models above this and some Sony OLED tvs that are better on paper, but good luck telling the difference. Picture is unreal. My only gripe is that setting it up is nervewracking becasue the chances you can ruin the screen aren't 0.

Holy Cow this TV is amazing! The picture is so crisp and clear that it actually spoils some CGI movies! It becomes apparent when CGI is sometimes used. I play XBOX often and this set really brings out the detail in both video games and movies. This is the clearest picture I have ever seen. It is amazing!

    Regret Not Waiting for 2021

Full disclosure, I was an early adopter and purchased this TV when it first released, around May 2020, and sent it back because of horrible vertical banding. The replacement set also exhibited vertical banding, but to a lesser extent, so instead of playing the panel lottery, I decided to keep it and currently have 350 or so hours on the panel. This is my first OLED and I was really excited about perfect blacks" but that is nowhere near the case. Go on any forum site (avsforums) and you will see almost every owner reporting these issues. In SDR/SDR game mode, the picture is incredible. Besides the lower peak brightness, the higher contrast makes it look night and day better than the 2018 Samsung QLED it replaced. However, once you go to HDR/HDR Game/Dolby Vision modes, this is where the problems are. Blacks are NOT black, and letterboxes constantly flicker gray, and are not true black. Any near-black content flashes nonstop to the point it is not enjoyable to watch, and distracting. There is also macroblocking all over the place. One could argue it is source related (i stream via my nvidia shield 2019 pro and have a fast internet connection so I am not sure). The general consensus is to lower the brightness setting to 49 to "fix" these issues, but it unfortunately does not in my case. Then to add insult to injury, there is the issue of raised blacks when VRR is engaged, which defeats the purpose of owning a next-gen console or gpu. This was the specific reason I bought this TV, to connect to the PS5. I was really on the fence about waiting for 2021 to buy a TV to connect my PS5 to, and unfortunately it looks like I made the wrong decision. I had such high hopes for this TV, but it seems like LG has downgraded their TVs like other manufacturers have done in 2020. Take my advice and wait for 2021.

Perfect picture, easy to calibrate to desired settings. The number one complaint I have seen is “brightness” and I cannot find any issues with how bright this tv can get. Very bright in the day, minimal glare (placed with screen facing the window) and excellent for sports and video games alike. 10/10

My first OLED, so comparing this to my 3 year old Samsung UHD isn’t really fair...my LG65OLED is as good as advertised, for a 65” TV to be have the vivid color with no hesitation in action type movies is amazing. The SMART features are very useful making the whole OLED experience worth the money.

This stylish and sleek TV will vastly improve the wow factor of any viewing room. The picture quality is beyond amazing and the functions and smart capabilities are top of the line. The price is a bit steep but you get more than what you pay for. If you are ready to step up your game this is a great set to invest in.
