The in home advisor from Best Buy recommended a 65" LG TV to me and after waiting two months to get the TV and after installation of a sort, I was told they could not get it to work with my electronics without an additional $1,500 in added equiptment.

Beautiful tv, thought I would like that I could give it verbal demands but it’s annoying and picks up on voices from the tv. A cheaper less expensive model would have been just as good.

    LG pixel cleaning issue

Started developing orange/green spots in picture after less than 2 years. Pixel cleaning made it slightly better and resetting tv to factory settings made it marginally better, but not gone. Will call bestbuy for repair possibilities, but the tv will likely need replacement soon. I’m not pleased at replacing this expensive tv in such a short time.

I am very disappointed that I was not told I couldn’t get Directtv stream on this LG tv without a fire stick or Apple TV connection. I did not know about it until the tv was already installed. I should have been asked my tv provider before I bought and told this about Lg tv’s

HDCP Issue means stuck at 60Hz til LG fixes

My G1 tv is experiencing an HDCP handshake issue (won't connect via 2.2 or 2.3), so HDMI-connected devices aren't getting 120Hz, just 60Hz. This has been tested across multiple ports, multiple cables, and I have factory reset the tv several times and tried a multitude of different combinations of settings. It seems like this issue is related to TV models manufactured in the last couple months and there are several forums reporting this, just search for "c1 hdcp issue" (c1 is related issue). The real world example of this for me is that the Playstation 5 can't play 120 Hz 4k content, despite the TV advertising it can. Be aware that you may end up with a defective tv!

    Don't trust Open Box, Excelent

I'm sure the TV is fine, but Best Buy listed it as Open Box, Excelent which means it has the box, all accessories, etc. When I got to the store, IT WAS THE DISPLAY MODEL THAT HAD BEEN ON FOR THOUSANDS OF HOURS, WRAPPED IN BUBBLE WRAP, MISSING THE STAND. They were supposed to call, but didn't. They acted like I was being petulant for being shocked at what I ordered versus what I was being given.

Excellent value for money, gret picture quality

This TV has excellent picture quality and has the OLED benefits of excellent contrast, brilliant color fidelity, wide viewing angles and fast response times. The profile is very sleek and the TV mounts nearly flush against the wall (Gallery series) with the custom mount which is fairly straightforward to setup. There's barely any dead space around the screen and it truly embodies the 'gallery' aesthetic. The Smart features are a bit cumbersome to setup initially but they span a wide range (voice commands, automatic picture selection for HDR, gaming optimization, sound modes, wide range of audio/video codecs support). The only knocks on this are: 1. the plethora of EULA that you need to navigate before you can use all the 'smart' features. I should be able to turn the TV on and use it in minutes without having to setup accounts and clicking through screens. 2. Sound quality - while it has some neat features like being able to drive both internal and bluetooth speakers simultaneously for a pseudo surround effect, the built in speaker quality is barely adequate. It's best to connect this TV to a proper multi channel speaker setup or at least a purpose built sound bar.

Buggy, slow annoying. Bad for an expensive TV

LG G1 regularly decides to exit YouTube TV and go to HDMI 1, even though nothing is plugged into it. All updates have been installed and it does it frequently. This is not acceptable in any TV, particularly in the most expensive 65” sold. Also, remote is not responsive. Frequently need to click once to wake it up, but other times not. Inconsistent behavior is bad.

Very disappointed. Software is slow and is always deleting my network wifi information forcing me to always input it when I want to access streaming apps. The picture on my Samsung LED 4K I bought 5 years ago has a way better picture. They couldn’t even use the flush mount during setup and the inability to change the screensaver is annoying. If I could return this, I would.
