TV showed up with BURN IN!

Purchased the television open box and called the store before placing the order to confirm the condition of the TV. I was told that the product is in "new-like" condition and has been checked for burn-in issues and the only thing missing is the remote and wall mount. I had to rent a car, purchase a stand and remote and drove 2.5 hours one way to pick up the TV as that was the only one available in my radius. At the store, I was sold the "total protection") plan just in case any issues show up when I take it home. Upon setting up the TV at home 2 days later, I found out there's burn-in on the screen and when contacted the Geek Squad and customer support, they refused to do anything about the defective panel. I was sold the TV and total protection plan under false pretenses. I had sold my old TV before picking up this one and now my options are to rent a car to return this television and lose a lot of time and money spent on additional things(not to mention, the new TV I would have to buy as I sold my old one) or live with a defective TV! Absolute disaster from Best Buy and 0 support or owning up to their mistakes!

Mind-Blowing Picture Quality But Empty Your Wallet

Wow, just wow! I'm not usually one to splurge on electronics, but the LG G3 OLED TV is a game-changer. I mean, the picture quality is just out of this world. Blacks are deeper than a midnight swim, and colors pop like fireworks on the Fourth of July. Whether I'm watching the latest blockbuster or binging my favorite shows, the visuals are so immersive, it feels like I'm transported right into the scene. Buttery smooth motion, perfect for action-packed movies and even faster-paced games, thanks to the super low input lag. Speaking of gaming, this TV is a gamer's dream come true. The Game Optimizer mode is awesome, and the colors just sing, especially reds – even compared to my buddy's fancy QD-OLED. Now, let's talk about the elephant in the room – the price tag. Let's just say, you'll need deep pockets for this beauty. But if you're a movie buff or a hardcore gamer who demands the absolute best, this TV might just be worth the splurge. Just be prepared to explain the cost to your significant other . Here's my personal breakdown: Pros: Picture quality that will knock your socks off: Deep blacks, insanely vibrant colors, and stunning brightness – even in a well-lit room. Gamer's paradise: Low input lag, Game Optimizer mode, and support for all the latest gaming bells and whistles. Sleek design: Mounts almost flush to the wall for a minimalist look. Cons: Price tag that could make your wallet cry: This is definitely a luxury item. No stand included: Gotta cough up extra for that. Remote control with more buttons than a spaceship: Might take some getting used to. Overall: If you're a discerning viewer who craves the ultimate viewing experience, the LG G3 OLED TV is in a league of its own. But be prepared to pay a premium for that top-of-the-line performance. For everyone else, there are some amazing OLED options out there that won't break the bank. But hey, if you win the lottery, you know what to treat yourself to ;)!

I purchased an open box LG TV listed at being in "Excellent condition. There are abrasions all over the screen where the finish is completely rubbed off and discolored. So extremely disappointed that this was misrepresented by Best Buy and I have to go through the hassle of returning.

Today its hard to justify the prices of tv's. When it was compared to me like a smartphone, most people would have no problem with spending 1k+ on a phone today. These tv manufactors arent making much on this cutting edge tech like the g3 or samsung s90 s95. With that being said if you can find this tv for a sale price or at minimum affordable payment on 0% interest the tv is 100% worth it. I am coming from a Lg c1 and its a very noticeable improvement over the c1 in just about any and all content, especially in the physical brightness. If your coming from anything non-oled or just much older its night and day. I do think in november 2023 samsung QD led like the s95 is a very marginally better picture. But i think the Lg G series for the same price is the better buy. The better factory warranty as well as the better UI and just ease of usability make the lg in my opinion miles ahead of the samsungs. I also had great luck with my c1 for over 4 years with not a single hiccup or even the slightest sign of burn-in. I think if samsung can make their UI a better, similar to what lg offers and they get their quaility control in check (tired of the S lottery, I just went through a fold 4 that had to be replaced from a defect less than a year old), I may change my mind in the coming years.

I've been using the LG 65" Class G3 Series OLED evo 4K UHD Smart webOS TV for a few weeks now, and I have to say, it's truly a game-changer. The picture quality is nothing short of breathtaking. The OLED evo panel brings out the most vibrant colors and deepest blacks I've ever seen, making every movie night feel like a trip to the theater. The One Wall Design is a real winner for me. The TV mounts flush against the wall, creating a sleek, modern look that fits perfectly in my living room. It's almost like having a piece of high-tech art on the wall. Plus, the super-thin bezel makes the screen feel even larger and more immersive. Navigating the smart features with webOS is a breeze. The interface is clean and intuitive, and the Magic Remote's voice commands are surprisingly accurate and convenient. Switching between streaming apps, adjusting settings, and finding new content is so smooth and hassle-free. As a gamer, I have to highlight the gaming performance of this TV. It supports HDMI 2.1, which means it can handle 4K gaming at 120Hz, providing incredibly smooth and responsive gameplay. The low input lag and fast response times are perfect for fast-paced games, and the vibrant colors and deep contrasts make the visuals truly pop. It also supports features like VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), which enhance the gaming experience even further. The sound quality is solid, too. The built-in speakers deliver clear and rich audio, but I paired it with a soundbar for that extra oomph during action scenes and music playback. All in all, the LG G3 Series has completely transformed my home entertainment experience. If you're looking for a TV that combines stunning visuals, smart functionality, and top-notch gaming features, this is definitely the one to go for.

Upgraded from a 50" Sony to this 65" LG. Impressed with the picture quality and the ease with which I can access all of my apps. The upgrade in size is impressive. I added a Samsung sound bar and completely satisfied with the entire set up. The remote has a cursor which takes a while to get used to but you can use the arrow buttons as well.

This is my 4th LG OLED, and it is by far the best. The G3 picture is amazing, noticeably better than the C4 we have in the living room, The C4 it replaced was kinda dark, that is not an issue with the G3. But while the picture improvement is nice, the sound improvement is night and day different The G3 sounds like it has a sound bar attached. Big improvement. And the flush wall mount is simply amazing and looks great. Can’t imagine ever owning another Tv that isn’t flush to the wall. Bottom line, if you are looking at a C3 or the new C4, please consider the G3 or G4. Especially on the C3 to G3 the extra money is worth it

I purchased this TV to replace a 65" 2021 LG G1 OLED in my living room because of the advertised brightness improvements (TV sits opposite a window with direct sunlight). The new G3 does not disappoint with the improved brightness--it was like watching some content for the first time all over again. The new anti-reflective coating also is a huge improvement, with the bright window being almost unnoticeable when watching content. Big Improvements Over Past Models/Other TVs: - Brightness is now able to compete with LCD TVs. OLEDs aren't always the best in bright rooms, but this is no longer the case - Anti-reflective coating is a huge improvement, when the TV is on reflections pretty much fade away. Slight Improvements Over Past Models/Other TVs: - Quick Media Switching (QMS) - available on the newest 4K Apple TV, meant to eliminate the momentary black screen when switching between content of different frame rates. It solves some of the issues but there will still be a black screen when switching between content with different dynamic ranges (i.e. SDR to Dolby Vision) Other TVs You Might Buy: - LG C3 - the G3 is brighter and worth the extra money if you are in a bright room. The colors and highlights will seem a lot punchier than the C3, but you'd get 95% out of the C series of the performance if you don't want to spend the extra money - Samsung S95C - Also a very bright and great OLED TV. Probably the closest direct competitor at the time of writing this review. The Samsung lacks Dolby Vision but supports HDR10+. Due to the content I watch and the some light gaming, I prefer to have Dolby Vision support. Anything I'd change: - The TV looks beautiful when it is wall mounted with the flush mount, but I wish they would give customers an option to choose between the included mount or the stand just for flexibility (didn't affect me personally, just a suggestion).

Brightest OLED display I've ever seen! Even coming from a S95B to a G3, I am thoroughly impressed. I know there are some issues such as game mode and dolby vision, but personally, I found it to be okay for the most part. Gaming was great for input delay and still looks more beautiful than the S95B and has a great 3d effect from the HDR! Watching movies looks crisp and clean and I see no pink tinting at all. LG has put together a phenomenal challenge to the S95C and QDOLED as a whole and I can't wait to see what this leads to! I personally use a UB820 to watch all my movies and it knocks them off! Where I had dark areas, I saw crisp detail and luminance as a result of the extra 500 nits on this panel. It even looks more lifelike. Couple this with a Sonos Arc surround sound and you'll be set!

A beautiful picture. I chose this TV over the A95L and S95C because the whites were whiter in all the comparisons that I saw. In theory it is also brighter. I also wanted a Dolby Vision capable TV. However, it did take 100 hours for the TV to settle in before it really "showed its stuff." The installers used the wall mount which has its advantages and disadvantages. So far, I am very happy, and feel it was worth every penny. Of course, in a month the CES show will present the new TVs of 24 and I am sure there will be more advances... a never-ending cycle. At some point you just have to jump in and buy something.

This TV has changed the way I see out of my prescription lenses. I feel as if I have a new pair of glasses on. The vibrant colors and the clear picture is better than any TV I’ve ever seen. Talk about attention to details, you can see it all, crisp and clear from all angles. The sound is great that you don’t need to turn the volume up so high to hear. The remote is pretty cool; it works like a mouse pointer on a computer. The apps work great and the TV was easy to setup right out the box. This TV is pricey compared to others, but it’s well worth the price. Thank you BBY and LG.

I was excited when LG announced this model at this year's CES and decided to order one as soon as they became available. I upgraded from an earlier LG OLED TV and I haven't been disappointed. The picture quality and the brightness levels are outstanding. I've seen reviewers say that this is the best TV available this year, and I can't argue with that line of thinking

Just..Wow.. I'm amazed by the picture quality of this TV! Streaming apps look really really good. But the PS5 connected is beyond believable. Amazing! Both running at 120hz refresh rate. 65" and soo smooth.. I kinda wish it came with a stand, but it's designed (designed very well) to be wall mounted. I instead found a stand with an arm mount. The sound is decent for what it is but will be much better with soundbar/speakers.

I tried the S95B which was a nice tv, especially for the price. Then a A95K which was yes a step up, but had issues with the ATSC 3 tuner and Nextgen stations going out. Would only remap them with a complete reset. Got the G3 and it is hands down the best TV I have had since my plasma PNF60F-8500. The upscaling in SDR is better than both of the others. This is a great TV except for the tiny internal speakers. You will need to buy a sounder for this TV, but for the brightness and clarity of the picture it is a small price to pay.

This TV is pretty awesome, with one minor annoyance and one major deficiency. The picture quality is AMAZING, and it took us a while to get used to the realistic images (our last TV was more than 10 years old LOL). The delivery and installation was also great. My pet peeve is the remote which is annoying to use. But the biggest disappointment is the lack of a real screensaver. There's only one option of an analog clock which automatically comes on at 2 minutes (cannot customize this). The TV does have an app that comes with GORGEOUS art, but there is no way to make the screensaver use these images, which is such a huge missed opportunity to make the TV more functional and, frankly, classier. This keeps me from giving the TV 5 stars.
