Great image quality but terrible screensaver

This TV is pretty awesome, with one minor annoyance and one major deficiency. The picture quality is AMAZING, and it took us a while to get used to the realistic images (our last TV was more than 10 years old LOL). The delivery and installation was also great. My pet peeve is the remote which is annoying to use. But the biggest disappointment is the lack of a real screensaver. There's only one option of an analog clock which automatically comes on at 2 minutes (cannot customize this). The TV does have an app that comes with GORGEOUS art, but there is no way to make the screensaver use these images, which is such a huge missed opportunity to make the TV more functional and, frankly, classier. This keeps me from giving the TV 5 stars.

Amazing picture and colors! I purposely bought this TV for my video gaming on Xbox Series X and this TV does it all. The detail in the graphics is SICK!! So smooth as well. The movies and shows are so clear and colorful as well. I watched the World Series on it with an antenna connection and the HD is just as good as streaming. This TV is not cheap, but as the saying goes: "Good things aren't cheap and cheap things aren't good." If you are willing to put down the cash for this OLED, you won't regret it.

Upgraded from a Vizio V Series. The picture on the LG is so 10 times clearer. If you’re in the market for an OLED and have the money to upgrade to a top tier tv, this is it. If this tv wasn’t available I probably would’ve went with Samsung. If you’re are looking for a higher end tv I would also recommend getting the protection package.

Purchased this as an upgrade from and LG CX and couldn’t be happier. The color different alone is an unbelievable upgrade. Bonus was having my Sonos system play true Dolby Atmos. Amazing sounds now from this home theatre set up. Even my wife who usually doesn’t notice picture quality improvements said “wow that definitely does look even better than our other TV.” Great buy

Actually 4.5 stars Amazing resolution but know this is highly (if not completely) dependent on internet speed - YMMV. Went from a 52” 1080p to this and even with my relatively poor internet the picture quality this was a huge upgrade. Much better brightness and less glare. I expect to unlock its full potential with arrival of fiber optic in my area someday. Would have given this 5 stars if it would allow me to use 1 remote control -vs- 3. Despite considerable valuable time spent with owners manual, on screen setup menus and online instructions it still will not sync with Bose soundbar.

Very awesome display! Walked in and couldn't believe the brilliant vivid colors and the sharp image and was able to secure a really good price on an open box. The only downside to it was not being able to understand the instructions and being sold a wall mount when the television already comes with one

Stunning OLED TV. HDR content is amazing and the deep inky blacks and bright vibrant colors make this the gold standard for OLED this generation. Bright room? No problem! This TV is bright enough for any watching environment and I would highly recommend this TV. The sound is also a welcome bonus if you are not using a speaker system, they are loud and clear but you will not get a lot of bass.

Absolutely awesome TV. I've owned 3 LG OLED TV's before this one and the G3 is hands down the best TV I've owned. It is bright enough for my fairly bright living room and it just looks stunning. Great thin design and I love the option to have the TV display artwork when off. Very happy to have gotten this on sale for Black Friday but would have gladly paid full price for it.

Absolutely stunning picture on this TV. I was waiting to buy on OLED until they came out with one bright enough for my living room, which has two large windows near the TV spot. This LG G3 is plenty bright enough for my main room. Although I do have to set the picture mode to Standard or Vivid if I want to compete with the direct sunlight, that is no problem at all. It still looks fantastic.

Beautiful TV, BB can’t install it properly

Truly amazing television, coming from a 2016 oled, there is an enormous difference in brightness. The gaming focused settings for g-sync and 120Hz make a big difference in gameplay. Overall, incredibly pleased with the upgrade. My one issue isn’t with the TV, it’s with Best Buy’s inability to install a gallery style tv properly. Do not use total tech or Best Buy’s installers if you want this TV flat against the wall (as it was designed). They will not be prepared to do it, even if you have all the required equipment. Use a local installer that knows how to install frame/gallery style TV’s.

The picture of this tv is amazing! It’s easy to set up and navigate. If you’re planning on going with the qned, do yourself a favor and go with this oled. I promise you will not be disappointed! Would definitely recommend a surround sound. Went with the Sonos gen 3 and I’m floored.

Beautiful picture right out of the box. Stunning blacks & incredible detail. Purchased about two months ago and have no complaints. Paired with S95QR Soundbar and the sound is outstanding, only issue I have is when connecting with Wow setup, I have to do it every time. Do not think you can get a better tv at this time.

This LG TV is amazing. The picture is far better than my two year old Sony and I love that TV. We have the LG OLED. In a relatively bright room and it still looks great. The color and contrast is s amazing. It’s quite an experience watching it. Sound is very good for a tv. But I’d still think about a sound bar.

I upgraded from a C9 with serious burn in. The G3 blows the C9 out of the water. Dolby Vision movies and shows are so bright and vivid. My XBOX series X looks phenomenal on it. I have had no issues with anything. I would highly recommend this TV for anyone looking for a OLED.

Upgraded from a 5-year old TCL and I must say I am blown away by the picture quality. I have a pretty bright living room but the G3 does not have any issues with the glare and still displays very bright pictures. A really worthy upgrade and the new MLA technology is a game changer

This is, by far, the best TV I have ever owned. The picture quality is excellent. The black level is incredible with unlimited viewing angles, as well. The colors are spectacular with superb clarity. Plenty of brightness and reflections are minimized.

We only had this a month now as it replaces our 8 year-old Sony Bravia XBR (LCD). We don’t have another OLED TV to compare this to, but this is very impressive to say the least. In reading the published reviews out there, the G3 series is regarded as LG‘s best OLED TV produced to date. The WebOS operating system is pretty easy to use, quick, and not laggy at all. There may be a small learning curve, but it should be very familiar to existing LG TV users. As with all other very thin TVs like this one, I strongly recommend a sound bar as the small built-in speakers can only do so much. This comes packaged only as wall mountable, but an optional stand can be purchased from either LG or other brands for it to sit on a counter or entertainment console. Finally, it really pays to do your research and I’m glad I did as pretty quite happy with this one!

Excellent OLED TV but the mount leaves a lot to be desired. Great picture once you adjust it. As other reviewers have said, the default settings out of the box are not comfortable to watch. Way too bright! I found a couple of forums online with recommended settings that make it a lot better and easier on the eyes. Now, the mount...great idea and concept but could use some improvement. It needs to be a bit longer so it can reach 2 studs to lag it into in case the center of your wall only has one stud within range. Luckily, the center of my wall was only 2" off to get lag bolts into studs at both ends so its not noticeable, If you try to mount it with wall anchors. it will come lose and not hold the TV securely or flush to the wall. The sound from the TV speakers is pretty good as far as TV speakers go but a sound bar is a must to get the total experience.

What can we say, we had an older LG in the living room we never watched - as we would usually watch in bedroom or kitchen - recently we have been taking more advantage of our living room space and decided the old LG was not as smart as we wanted it to be nor big enough - did our research for months and landed on this LG G3 65" - it is truly the best TV we have ever laid eyes on! Installation was a breeze and the quality is just outstanding - brightness - clarity etc... The sound - while not terrible - could use an updgrade - but I guess that is what soundbars are made for - paired this TV with the Sonos Arc and Sub - and it just turns your living space into a legit home theatre. LG is the leader in OLED and with the new MLA technology wrapped into this TV - it makes for the best TV of 2023 & 2024
