    This LG TV is one of 4 new smart tvs I’ve purchased in the last 2 years. I have a 2 Sony’s and a Samsung Frame and this TV has 2 huge flaws. First, if you want to connect this tv via Ethernet, it is limited to 100mhz or cat5 only which by the way, is almost impossible to get cat 5 cables anymore because the word has moved on from cat5. Regardless, cat5 Ethernet connection doesn’t work either. Literally, the connection fails and disconnects every 5 seconds, or there is DNS failure and LG knows about this hardware failure and does nothing about it. A TV This expensive doesn’t have a decent network adapter for Ethernet connection? Wireless only and that is a deal breaker. Worse, false advertising with “gallery mode” is nothing like Samsung gallery. This tv does not display art or any mode that looks like art on the wall. It’s a complete lie. It’s nothing more than a screen saver that displays the clock and different photos in slide show. This TV Was a waste of money. Hardware is failing and the sound sucks too. I’ve had this TV for a year and the ethernet connection failed and can’t connect to internet. LG support is useless and there are thousands of complaints about this tv. They should also disclose the limitations to cat5.
