I have had this tv for close to 4 years and frankly ITS TIME To through this piece of garbage away . i also purchased a Sony Bravia around the same time and FRANKLY ,i wished i would have purchased TWO SONYS Instead .

This is an awesome tv. Very thin frame, light weight, low heat, low power, cool remote.

The BB sales guy talked me into this TV. I wanted the Sony 900 and never really considered a LG, but he kept talking this one up so I got it. RTING rating of LG 7.3 - Sony 8.1. I know , I know I should have waited and done my homework before I bought it. Horrible black levels and the back lit zones are really distracting. When there is a dark scene all 4 corners have these lighter black patches and when something light comes on screen these vertical bands of gray appear from the top to the bottom of the screen and follow the light object. It’s really annoying. Also streaming movies have a really faded, washed out look. It’s hard to explain... the pop of color just is not there. I tried to correct it but nothing really changes. When watching cable things are much better, but I really wanted a tv that would do a great job streaming and upscaling but this tv is not it. My 6 year old sharp does a better job of providing a clean picture. I’m very disipointed. I kept hoping that it was a calibration issue and I kept trying various settings to get it dialed in. Now it’s too late to return so I guess I’m stuck with it. I really think the salesman knew it is an inferior product and it was going on sale but wanted to get one sold at full price. I even asked if it was going on sale and he straight out told me no. Then a week later $100 cheaper. And then guess what, another week later $100 cheaper again. I really think he knew. The Sony I should have gotten - no lower price there. On the plus side I got so good at calibration my 6 year old sharp has a really great picture now. I’m not a tech head just a guy that likes to watch movies so I’m not looking for the perfect picture but this one is really not good for the money, heck the verticel band issues would bug me at any price point.

This TV is well priced for the picture clarity I receive. Very happy with the purchase.

Beautiful and stylish. However, the installation did not go as promised.

It is a nice mid level tv. It is not oled/qled but there isn't much 4k content.
