I bought this TV during the July 4th sale and couldn't be happier. Great color and resolution. Using the UHD netflix service really shows the capability of the 4K TV. While not an OLED, i am happy with this TVs performance and still have $$$ in my pocket for other things.

I was looking for the best I could get for the price and this one was on sale as well. I love the mouse type remote operation. The auto dimming was to dim , we had to turn it off and adjust. Only thing we don’t like is the curved stand , it sticks out far in front; this thin TV would be great mounted.

If you're on the fence about this, don't be. Whilst all reviews are very subjective in isolation, I also have the entry 2018 LG 55" for direct comparison which is good for the money, but if you can afford the next step up, you get past some of the shortcomings which exist at the entry level.
Primarily, that will be the depth of black in the picture. Entry model looks more 'dark grey' and partially washed out, but whilst this doesn't have the spectacular contrast of the OLED, it's worth the step up to get a little closer to that. Be sure to delve into the Picture Settings and turn off the 'Local LED Dimming' - that's a nice idea too try and help the black depth, but it's just distracting in truth.
The Smart Remote is cool and whilst I much prefer to use Apple 4k for the streaming interface (Dolby Vision & HDR etc), then onboard apps work nicely too.
If you're pondering back and forth (as I did for two weekends!), just get on one of these and be glad you did!

Great TV. The App are fast and smooth. Colors on the TV are vivid, Rich and beautiful. Mind you your source programming/ video has to be 4k or 1080 to experience the the true power of this TV. you cant just pop in SD or VHS quality video and expect 4k quality. The source video needs to be filmed in high definition. That being said. I have Direct satellite and some of the programming and channel do not to the TV justice. I do Use the Nexflix app on the TV and it dose look great. Bring out the best in the shows and movies. If any thing I wish i have gone bigger. Also i like the tv stand. i dont like how other Tv have there stand/feet close to the left and right ends. If you are not mounting the Tv this limits you on the table you are putting the Tv on. But this Tv stand is in the center so i dont have to get larger table to place the Tv on. Mounting the Tv and getting a lager table was not an option. Love the Tv I would get another LG product if I needed one

Great price when purchased at the time it was available in 2018. Picture is fine, sound is okay with several modes. WiFi starting acting up a year ago - random disconnects and signing off then having to sign back on with password is annoying. I bought this at 40% off so no other complaints.
Does all I need it to.

Purchased from Best Buy last week. It was delivered the next day. The picture quality blew me away. It was easy to set up, with so many options to get it just the way I wanted it. For $899, I’m convinced it is the best TV out there for price range. You won’t be disappointed.

We changed from a Samsung to an LG and it was well worth it. The color and clarity is great and the ease of use with the remote is very nice as well. The built in Google works well with or other smart home devices. Everything is very realistic on this TV. Very happy thus far

Have had this LG TV for about one month attached to a Polk Soundbar and has provided me with an excellent picture and great sound. Only con is I had to set picture to vivid to get the brightness I wanted. Will update later but at this point worth the money!

The television is fantastic, the colors are so vibrant. It’s worth getting this tv. One of my favorite features about the tv is that the tv remote is like a mouse cursor. Also you are able to connect the remote to other devices that you use with your tv.

I absolutely love this television. Easy setup, picture is easily set to whatever suits your taste. Dolby atmos recognized easily when on Netflix or ultra 4K. The Google assistant feature is awesome. For under $900.00 this television can't be beat.

This tv has great quality and contrast. The pictures and color is better than any other tv brand I have purchased in the past. This tv and company is the best. My daughter loves the added benefits, apps, and programs that comes with the tv.

The television was purchased for our game room upstairs. It has a quality picture and is easy to use. I have found myself watching sports on this television rather than the Sony with the same specs and size.

Outstanding quality. Beautiful picture. Easy to use remote. Sound is good but much better with sound bar. Movies and sports are a pleasure to watch. I went in to purchase a Sony but was shown this one. I am very happy and saved a few $$.

We had been loyal Sharp TV buyers for years but when our 70" broke we went shopping and found this 65" LG. WOW, no double WOW on this TV. The colors, features, how user friendly it is. The delivery from Best Buy was seamless and the set up was effortless because the initial set up was shown to us by the delivery guy. From there we have managed to learn the features ourselves and they are so easy. We cut the cord over a year ago and this works great with Roku and our streaming service. You won't be disappointed with this TV. We found we like the 65" better than our original 70" and of course because it is newer and colors are so vivid. We also like that we can adjust the lighting of the tv to the room light or window light too. Happy watching!

This TV has been a great addition. The built in web browser allows me to easily surf the web and the magic remote functions like a mouse (sort of like a Wii controller). Picture is great.

All TVs have a give and take. This TV does everything pretty well. It’s biggest strength is the motion control. It is great with no ghosting. It’s bigest weakness is its local dimming (not very great) so it’s black levels are more gray. So in total darkness viewing it can be noticed but not so much in a lit room. Overall it has a nice picture and great motion handling. I can deal with the less than perfect black levels. All of the other TVs in this price range (when on sale) had better black levels but the motion was garbage.
