    Avoid at all costs

    I had my eye on this model for months. I was able to buy this display at a great price during Black Friday. Now, I regret my decision to purchase this LG television and wish I had visited the LG forum before purchasing. I have had this model for a little over 3 months. The display will operate as one would expect. But every few days, without warning, it shuts off. The forum fix, which worked initially, was to unplug the TV from the wall for a few seconds and while unplugged, blow air into the vents; the reason was that dust might have collected inside and the dust was preventing proper ventilation. I thought this was ridiculous but I tried it anyway and it worked (initially). I have had to try this remedy 3 times since and that "fix" no longer works. As my luck would have it, my period of return was exactly one week ago. Now I guess I will have to contact the manufacturer and see what they think about this all to common problem and how they plan to fix it. It has been little over 3 months since I made the purchase and I cannot enjoy this 65" display that I was so hoping to enjoy. If your heart is set on purchasing this model, I would strongly suggest getting the extended warranty. Hopefully you will not have to use, but, you probably will. You have been warned.

    my regret is not purchasing a extended warranty cause it definitely needs it. worst part is this is my second lg tv that stopped working. this one after 14 months!!!!! i tried contacting LG, they told me tough luck, i brought it to a tv repair man and he tried a couple of things and no success. he said anything more would not be worth it. he told me LG is using inferior parts then not standing behind their product. $1200 down the drain! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

    TV Arrived Broken LG Support is Terrible

    It arrived broken, HDMI inputs did not work, but regrettably I was overwhelmed moving into my new house and by the time i confirmed it was not a bad cable, the no questions asked 15 day period had expired. LG came out to fix it, but then hard to order the parts even though they knew exactly what was wrong with it in advance. Repair guys says LG will not let him order the parts. So thats another half day away from the office. Broken on delivery, poor support. Buyer beware.

    First and Last LG Product I Will Own

    I had heard good things about LG and decided to try this tv out as my first LG product. It lasted a whole 21 days before something went wrong with the power board or power supply. Was watching the tv and then it just started turning on, turning off, turning on, turning off. Either I got a lemon or these things are garbage. What a hassle and waste of my time...time to go return it and by something else. Didn't plan on spending my Saturday morning at Best Buy.

    IT HAD TO HAVE THE MOTHER BOARD REPLACE AFTER 2 YEARS THE NETWORK MODULE HAS TO BE REPLACED AFTER 5 YEARS

    This tv doesn’t last long sorry to say mines only lasted 30 days since a lighting struck it and now my screen is messed up in the middle. TV panel is not very good picture quality is not great at all please do reviews before buying a product that is not good quality.
