    This TV has it all!

This TV is great! Don't be fooled into buying a more expensive TV. For an average person this TV is more than adequate. Great picture and smart features. I went to Best Buy and the salesman acted like this TV is junk compared to the LG 8500 series which was $500 more for a 65 inch. I originally bought a 55 inch 8500 series and returned it for a 65 inch 6300 series for the same price. Don't get caught up in the 60 mhz vs 240 mhz speed. I don't notice any difference between both. I didn't listen to him and I was right! I love it!

Not far into owning this a third of the screen developed a shadow that made watching it awful. We replaced the tv with another brand.

Picked up my 2nd LG as a floor model special. It burned out seconds after turning on. At least Best Buy replaces it with a new one at the floor model price.

    LG 6300 65 inch

I bought the 65 inch for $799 after Black Friday. It took several hours to change the settings to my liking because the preset picture settings did not look great. Also, you should turn off Trumotion and Energy savings functions to get a better picture. It took several websites to figure out how to make my picture the best for me and LG didn’t really respond to my question on their website for how to get a better picture. Once I got all the settings correct, the picture was fantastic. The HDR seems to be a lower grade so that wasn’t really much of a factor for a better picture. I would say if you want HDR, get LG’s 8000 series if you want to see a difference. The remote for this tv isn’t great, but what more can we expect for $799.

Not bad for the price $700-$800

This is my first 4K and largest TV I've purchased. At a little over $700 I'm happy with it. Picture is very clear. I cut my cable so i'm watching local channels via outdoor antenna and they pick up great on the TV, Same as via cable. I also use Amazon Fire stick and Netflix. The movies are clear and I upgraded my Netflix to receive Ultra HD quality. There are some movies in 4K but in general most all tv stations and movies are not but the 4K Gives a very clear picture. You WILL NOT get the same picture as shown in the store as they showing content filmed with a 4K camera. I also purchased a BOSE QUIET COMFORT 35ii headphones and a MEE Blue tooth connect device so that I can connect the headphones to the TV. This model does not have Bluetooth capabilities, you would have to jump up to the $1,200 Models to get that or wait another year for the prices to come down, I'm all connected and very Happy. the staff at best buy was great. I had a LG 55 LED for 6 years and it went out... I would say 4 years too early but anyway what can a guy do! This picture is better than that.

I went in to buy 65" Samsung that was $899 and my luck they were sold out but had 55" Samsung, I wanted to see picture quality on display and Sales rep showed me and I was looking at the tv next to it that was a little bigger much better picture asked what brand it was and so I turned the volume up and volume was better on LG tv too. Decided to get it and saved $100 from what I expected to spend on the Samsung. Got it home set up was easy took about 15 minutes. 10 minutes to program it and we were watching tv again. We have has the tv now about a month and don't regret getting it. Sports is a plus on this tv.

    1) Picture quality is great. It looks like you are looking at live TV. 2) Easy setup and menus. 3) Get a soundbar and connect it through the optic connect, you will have much better sound. You can even connect the soundbar up to a subwoofer. 4) The sound is good from the TV speakers, but better with the soundbar.

Decided time to upgrade from Toshiba 60” from 2000. Wanted to try smart tv to wean away from cable as I have Netflix & Amazon Prime already. Very happy. Was informed LG had better processor for Wi-Fi & have had no trouble with apps. Occasional lag as it buffers, but that’s to be expected

    Not a fan of LG

I had my old Samsung TV for about 12 years now, perfect TV. Absolutely nothing wrong with it but I wanted a 4K and size upgrade. A few of my friends have LG's and I was torn between the two brands. I decided to go with this one because it was $100 cheaper than the Samsung (although I just saw the same Samsung version for the same price). Needless to say, right out of the box, started having problems. At first, the TV wouldn't get past the LG logo screen upon initial startup. After trying and trying, it would slowly start working its way to the setup screens before freezing and I would have to restart the TV and take a gamble on if it would come back up. Customer support kept telling me the same thing, unplug it, hold the power button, plug it back in. After a while, I managed to get the TV setup. Everything seemed great. I only have two devices plugged into the TV; a HDMI for my STB and a HDMI for my surround sound which has a PlayStation 4 connected to it. After testing out the STB, I decided to try the PS4. Worked great, for about 10 minutes, then the TV started shutting off on it's own. I'd turn it back on, it would start up fine but then shut off after a minute or less. I gave up with the PS4 and went back to the STB but before I could, the TV kept shutting off before I could change the input setting back to the STB. Once I finally did, it wouldn't register a signal. Eventually, it started working again and I figured I'd just give it a chance and watch a movie. Worked great for about 30 minutes then it kept shutting off during the movie. Happened about six times before I gave up. Let the TV rest overnight and tried it again this morning. Again, it won't move past the LG logo screen. For the time that I could watch something, the picture looked great and the sound was great. It's a great looking TV, just the overall quality of the product is garbage. I've had the TV for less than 24 hours. Definitely going back to the store and getting the Samsung instead of a replacement LG. If you're a fan of LG, give it a try, I've heard great things. As far as me, I'm sticking to the brands that I know. Sorry, LG, you lost a customer.
