We had mistakenly bought another brand tv, but quickly went back & exchanged it for this LG tv. We purchased this tv in a 42" about 1 year or so ago & we enjoyed that one so much, but now we wanted a larger screen tv (65 inch), so we decided on the other brand tv, when we got it home, it was terrible especially for a major name brand tv, the picture was milky & fuzzy, needless to say we took it right back to the store & realized that they had our LG in a bigger screen (the 65" tv that we were looking for). Well, needless to say we jumped on it, because it was $700.00 off, plus we knew from our other LG that it HAD to be an AWESOME picture quality like our 42" LG. We had it delivered & plugged it in, WOW and I mean WOW, what an AWESOME TV all round. The picture quality is AWESOME, the setup, was so EASY, there are so many different picture things to get into if you want to FINE TUNE the picture. The sound is GREAT especially for not having any speakers hooked up to it. You can't go wrong with this TV, its CLEAR, CRISP, AWESOME in every way, the BLACKS are DARK BLACK, the WHITES are BRIGHT WHITE, the colors are so VIVID (note: make sure you TURN OFF the energy saving, because that will effect the VIVIDNESS & BRIGHTNESS of your tv if you don't turn it off). We are so glad that we found the LG in the larger screen. The quality & picture quality of this tv is AWESOME and close to the look of the OLED, for less than half the money of the OLED. The price is great too, we bought ours for $943.00 + tax (on sale) marked down from $1700.00. The reason for sale price is the new 2018 TV's are coming in soon. This is a great price for such an AWESOME TV, you won't be sorry. Happy viewing!

my tv got delivered and found a crack on the screen bummed out

Very good set with fantastic picture quality. I watched Daredevil in Dolby Vision and the clarity, detail and color were top notch. I would rate this tv as good as most Samsung's, if not better. While it's no OLED, it certainly holds up quite well considering the price point. The smart aspect is a lot of fun with the magic remote.

The 65 inch version DOES have an optical audio out. I'm using it. Picture great. Sound good. Optical out to home theater is excellent! The picture rocks out even on an old show like Andy Griffith over Netflix. Netflix loads in seconds! Super fast. (I'm using a wired internet connection) When wall mounting, the TV center is a few inches higher than the center of the rocketfish full motion mount.

This TV is good for price. I saw issue with loading Netflix, it takes a while to load and then first time always show me errors. This is the most annoying part of it. Picture quality is good but I had to get a sound bar for enhancing sounds. I might have to spend money on getting a roku or amazon fire stick.

Wifi stopped working under 2 yrs and I had to be using my xbox to make it smart again

Tv delivered promptly but upon setting up noticed that we received 2 A feet and no B. Called LG and was told they could get us a new part in 7-10 days and that they do not expedite or ship overnight for anyone even when it’s their mistake. Plenty of options at this price point - buy from a company with better customer service.

loved the tv wouldn't recommend it. bought new and should of got the extended warranty. only lasted 14 months, and this was when they were released so it cost 1500. when shopping for a tv always plan to add the extra warranty in the cost you will be happy later when it breaks

Noticed dark vertical bands in picture, called authorized service. Technician agreed doesn’t look right, contacts LG. LG sends back an email saying that’s a feature of how the screen works and most people wouldn’t notice. Now I have a tv that I can barely watch cause I see these streaks that according to LG no one else will see. DO NOT BUY any U7700 series units.

I paid almost $4,000 for my 65” 4K LG. After 15 months it now has very seious burn in. If you like watching a channel that has a banner DO NOT BUY THIS TV. Wish I could be part of a Class Action Law Suit. LG says they are not responsible and do not have a fix. Don’t waste your time buying a tv from this manufacturer!!!
