    This TV was great but ours is only 4 years old and the color is tinting blue. Dark scenes are almost black and you cannot see anything.

    HDMI Ports Suck

    I bought this TV about a month ago. It was working great and then boom one of the HDMI ports went out. I read reviews about this TV and its shaky hdmi ports but I thought I would take a chance. It is my own fault.

    WIFI LOSES CONNECTIVITY

    This TV is terribly unreliable. The WIFI drops all the time. And no, it's no my wifi provider as all other devices in my home are still connected when this happens. The first time I called customer service and they didn't know how to fix. Watched a YouTube video and fixed it by changing location. Pathetic. Now a few weeks later WIFI has disconnected again. Save your money and buy another brand that's not LG.

    Back lights burn out quickly

    Bought in 2019. By 2023 the back lights have nearly all burnt out. Leaving a screen that is blue tinted with patches of normal hues where the few back lights still work. Pretty disappointing given the brand name. My Hisense is 7 years older and still running strong with vivid color.

    Washed out colors, bad up-scaling of 1080 content (lots if artifacts and pixelization). I have a 1080p that blows this thing away. When looking at these two side by side, I am amazed at how bland this color is on this thing. I have a 2 year old 4k LG, and this is a toy compared to it. Stay away - just stay away

    What a disappointment.

    Bought this on Black Friday and it’s going back ASAP. The HDMI ports on this are junk. Regardless of which port you use, there are issues. I work in IT, I have been doing AV for years. Was hoping to get a cheap TV that wouldn’t be used too often, I got cheap alright. This thing is a joke. Save yourself the hassle, skip over this one.

    DONT BUY!!

    Do not buy! TV broke down after 4 weeks, and LG customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. I have wasted countless hours on the phone with them, and they do not make any attempt to fix the problem. They are hard to get hold of. They don’t care and are very rude, and don’t make any effort to resolve the issue. I have been waiting for the tv to be repaired almost as much time as I had it working! It is incredible that you buy a brand new tv and get such a lousy product and lousy customer serivce. Never again.

    Tuner is garbage, don't buy if you are doing OTA

    I bought this to replace an older LG plasma. Set it up in front of the old TV and did the channel scan after swapping the antenna cable. The old TV did 23 channels. This new TV at first did none, then after repeated scans did 3 channels. I figured it was just a bad TV, so I boxed it up and took it back. Best Buy nicely took it and gave me a replacement. I took that one home, same setup and.... Exactly the same result. The Tuner sensitivity is garbage on these. Finally I went back, talked to the sales folks and bought a Samsung, which I took home and it received everything the old LG had. I felt bad for Best Buy, now they have two open box LGs.

    HDMI No Audio Signal to LG Atmos Soundbar

    Purchase this LG TV Black Friday Deal, good price, but could not get the LG SJ9 Atmos soundbar audio to work after 3 hours of changing the settings and configuration, per instructions Bought the 4k HDMI cable, still no audio, faulty HDMI, MFG needs to address this issue, as per other customers leaving feedback. The picture quality, my opinion not as bright and clear as my Samsung. returning to Best Buy....

    broke in less than 2 years

    We rarely use this TV. It has less than 500 hours of use and now doesn't turn on. Called LG warranty and they didn't surprised by it. They told me they could send out a tech for $125 and then charge parts and labor on top of that. What I gathered from the conversation from their rep is, they don't expect these TV's to last more than 1 year and that's why they won't warranty for longer than that. Highly disappointing! Especially because I made the mistake of buying 3 different LG tv's. I WOULD AVOID LG TV'S AT ALL COST!!

    Had to return this model 2X-bought different brand

    Originally bought this TV on 1/12/19 and returned it on 1/21/19 because of a bad HDMI port. Exchanged it for same model and on 1/27/19 I returned the second one due to a bad HDMI port. Second return was for a refund. Ended up buying a Samsung at a different store. I'll never consider another LG product again. Wasn't Best Buy's fault and they were very accommodating on the returns, but they shouldn't carry this model if it has so many problems.

    Has problems. LG terrible customer service

    The TV has a box that pops up constantly in the top right corner that says Unknown device is disconnected. It is very annoying. The WIFI also will not work. By googling this issue it appears it is a very common problem with LGs That might be caused by a bad WIFI card. The youtube videos on this issues have hundreds of thousands of views. I called LG and they wouldn't do anything as this TV is just over 1 year old. Their solution to problems is just to ignore them. I for one will never buy LG again. They do not back up their products.

    Legs are poorly placed

    The legs on this are so far apart it is nearly impossible to fit this on a stand. Don’t buy unless you plan on mounting it. I went from a 70” to this 65” and had to buy a new tv stand.

    Failed just after 5 years

    Failed after 5 years. LG won't repair or replace but will give me 10% off a "new LG TV". All set. TVs should last more than 5 years with normal usage. Never had this issue with a Samsung.

    Purchased this tv in May of 2019 brand new. It's now April 2023...not even 4 years later and the screen had red lines through it and turns itself off automatically when it feels like it. I have never had a tv last for less than 4 years. Do not purchase these used, who knows how long you have left!

    Well first off I find it kind of weird that Best Buy doesn’t have any of these TVs that Are on sale on display at any of their store???? Well about the LG don’t waste your time, The TV is very bulky, the picture is very dark and the sound is not so great. Then when I receive the TV, well the first one had a huge crack – right down the middle And the box was already open when I receive the product. So I am returning it for a second time and exchanging it for a Samsung product which shows 10 times better.

    you get what you pay for

    2 weeks out of box, picture went. LG said have to be without tv for a month before they would consider replacing. Will pay for repairs, but repairs will take 3 weeks. Very poor picture quality (for the 2 weeks that I did get to watch it). First and last time I will ever buy an LG product! Don't know why I left Samsung. Thank goodness that Best Buy stood behind purchase! I am taking back and upgrading.

    HDMI Port 2 is garbage

    HDMI port 2 failed a week out of box. I exchanged TV, and within 3 days, HDMI port 2 failed on the second TV. An active device will register on HDMI port 2, but no picture and sound. If there is an issue with this model, LG should fix it at manufacturing stage.
