Upgraded from a Sony 50 inch Projector TV. My wife luv's the wall mounted picture.on Purchased reccomended LG 300w sound bar with woffer (on sale) which provides theater like sound. Must say that Geek Squad installer was a complete bust. Had to politely DISMISS him onsight. Save yourself a hassel and find a TV wall mount contractor online (there are several). I was able to locate one that did a great job for price less than Geek Squad. They set up and connected everything in fine fashion. We are very satisfied with this purchase and performance of this TV, Has easy to follow on screen set up and remote control functions instructions.

    Great so far

We have had this TV for 3 days so far and really enjoy it. Previously had a 65" Samsung UN65MU6300 and the picture quality is very similar. We had to replace it because my daughter hit it with the remote and broke part of the screen. Overall, I like the LG better for several reasons: More intuitive settings, LG's classic remote has more options and Samsung "smart" remote would never connect, you can display compatible devices on the tv, you don't need the special size AV plugs, and we have basic antenna tv and this tv displays the current show when changing channels without the need to press the info button. Again, pretty similar tvs in terms of picture and I know our Samsung model is discontinued, but I believe LG's software if better.

    What a great TV

The picture and sound quality of this TV is just like being in a theater. After adjusting levels to my particular tastes, I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase. The sound is excellent without enhancement from a soundbar system (although I will be adding that later for true theater sound.) The picture is sharp and clear. It's almost like the people on screen are in the room with you. I highly recommend this TV.

    Great Picture/Horrible with Movement

I am writing this review after using the TV for around 2 months. I bought this tv to replace a 55" Sony Bravia that was just an awesome tv. The reason for the TV is that I wanted to go bigger but was limited due to the type of TV mount that I had installed when we moved into our house. The LG fit perfectly on the mounts. Installation was very simple and came with everything we needed to hook up with the exception of the HDMI cord which we already had. OUt of the box the display is horrible and you really want to take it back. First thing to do when turning on the TV is to turn off power saving mode. This hinders the TV picture from really shining. Upon set up and configuration of the TV (there is a great guide if you google the model number and settings) it became apparent that it was lacking in several departments. The first and most bothersome on the TV is motion. I do not watch sports that often so was not expecting an awesome picture for sports but on just normal TV or movies you get a bit of ghosting on some movements. The picture is great but it is a major let down to see ghosting like this. I am past my return period now so there is nothing I can do but warn others. The second down fall is the salesman pushed the TV as one that is closer to true 4K than what it is. It will run 4k HD on HDMi inputs but other forms it is a replicated 4k. It runs ok for the most part but if you love HD opt for a higher model. Overall the TV is average with the ghosting problem. If that was fixed the TV would def. get a higher rating as the picture is actually really good for a 65".

Awesome picture and features. Unfortunately, if you walk just a few inches to the left/right of the screen the picture goes dark quickly. We have several large older LED TVs throughout the house and this is the only on that goes dark at a wide angle. Maybe it’s a setting..

Great TV but issues with Amazon Alexa

I love this TV. It has all the features I wanted and more! I cannot get my Amazon Alexa to control it though which is the only issue I am having. If you don't need voice control this is the TV for you with a good price point.

This tv is a great buy for the money. I purchased this tv a couple months ago and I have not been disappointed. Sure, it does not give the best 4k quality, but you are paying 1/4 the price of a tv that will. I'd say that's a pretty good trade off. The smart tv interface is simple and reliable. I think it is much easier to use than competitor brands.

I purchased this TV because of a good sale price. However once i set it up and wall mounted i noticed that this was not a good purchase. The color is horrible and even after adjusting was not any better. The motion blur is unbearable and you cant fix it . This TV must be 10 hertz lol. Anyways dont buy this, upgrade to a Samsung or Sony you will be glad you did. I am returning right away and spending more money to get a quality TV.

    Buyer beware

Purchased this tv on July 4th. Tv worked for 2-1/2 months. Tv developed a line down the center of it. Been back and Forth with LG for almost 3 months. I asked lg for a refund and they’ve been stalling. They finally sent repair service to my home to fix it. They worked on it for almost 3 hours and it still doesn’t work. Lg will not give me a refund. This television has been sitting on the floor of my living room for almost 3 months. Lg has “Not” honored their warranty.

Screen has a black mirror finish. Vividly reflects all sources of light in the room. Very poor viewing experience. My guests constantly make remarks about the reflections on the screen. Not suitable for a sports bar or my living room. Would recommend for those who live in a dark cave.

The screen stopped working before 5 years. Will cost more to fix than to get a brand new one.
