Great colors, decent processor. Menu is nice and the remote makes it worth everything. Magic remote makes me buy an LG over any other brand. Speakers are not bad either, if you don’t want to pair it with a sound bar. I have mine sitting out on a covered deck. Better then spending $3000 on an outdoor tv. The colors and brightness is awesome if even tho it’s outside.

The only thing I don't like it's when I watch the movie and there is dark scenes I see on the right and left of the screen some kind of ghost spot moving around.

The picture doesn’t look as good as in the store even on my hd channels. I also don’t like the remote that comes with the tv. It is not user friendly. It’s confusing. I use my direct tv remote. The apps don’t want to work right. They buffer. So I just use my Apple TV with it. It’s just ok overall.

Worst Tv I have ever purchased. Tv picture started showing vertical lines days after purchasing. Best Buy did not accept tv back since it was after the 15 days return policy. Manufacturer sent technician to my house, he stated it’s a manufactured defect. Manufacturer does not want to replace tv nor refund my money. Bad tv poor customer service.

Meh not as good as I was hoping for.. should have stuck with Samsung… the lighting from the edges on dark screens is less than ideal… Also, less than 2 years old and already has some type of failure. Burn in or lighting issue right down the middle of the TV(see Photo).

Amazing TV!!!! Super easy to use and the magic remote control is definitely a plus. For $1099 you get a lot with this bad boy. DirectTv is ok and you won’t be blow away by no means at all unless you watch the 4K channels. The magic is when you use Netflix or amazon prime with 4K content ...... wow!!!! This Nano technology is amazing and colors are super bright. I was considering the Qled for few hundred more but I’m super glad I went with LG. Oled is the king when it comes to quality and image but there is no way You will be dissatisfied with this beauty. Once again, for $1099 you will be extremely happy! Watching 4K blu Ray with this thing is also incredible. Definitely a great buy!

So Far So Good

So far so good. The TV itself is pretty good quality. Since I'm a glass half empty person - I'll focus on the cons for those that are looking for differentiators.
Con 1 - I chose the tv because I have a limited size stand and the "leg" option - wouldn't work. The pedestal is great for that - BUT the TV itself feels super wobbly on it. I saw other reviews with the same notice and appears to be the case here.
Con 2 - I have a TiVO - and the software won't allow me to choose the TiVO with a cable company for TV guide. Not a huge deal - but they've gone out of their way to present an alternative mechanism to browse the TV - but they overlooked that one point.
Pro - noting the con above - for anyone that wants a one remote option, they do try to provide a way by synching devices pretty well. Works with AppleTV and an LG BluRay player - with options for a ton of other devices.
Pro 2 - My daughter loves the remote. It has a Wii like sensor so you can do point and click.
Sound is crappy like most TVs nowadays - recommend using an external speaker. It has technology to synch the sound if there's a weird delay.

This is an amazing TV and it is replacing my LG 45 inch that I've had for about 8 years (still works). My past experience with LG TVs has made me a loyal customer and I will stay with this brand.
Set up was easy, but you will need a second person to help take it out of the box and attach the screen to the stand.
My previous TV was hooked up to the Fire Stick. This new TV has LG Web Os software. With the hit of a single button, Netflix, or Hulu, Amazon Prime, etc. load in seconds (5 seconds +/-) where the Fire stick on the older TV, it may have taken 40-50 seconds.
I purchased this TV with a sound bar, Ultra 4K disk player and rear speakers. All are LG brand. The TV thought about it for a second or two, then synced all products together. Installation was that easy. Classic "plug and play".
Next, regarding the Apps, installation simply required my smart phone and a pass code for each App. I didn't have to enter my email address each time, try to recall each individual password, etc. So it took about 6-10 minutes to install about 8 Apps and sign in.
I was debating the 65 inch or the 55 inch. I went with 65 inch, as the lady at the store told me, "No one ever regrets buying the bigger screen".
The picture is great and I enjoy the sound. I really enjoy movies and the DVDs look great. Blue Ray Disks look even better and Ultra 4K movies look phenomenal!!!
Netflix has Ultra 4K content and once you sign in on the TV, the account will ask you if you want to upgrade. Hit "YES" and that's all done.
I debated buying the newer TV for about 2 years and am very happy to have finally made this purchase.

Within the first week, we kept contemplating returning for Samsung which we went to buy but sales guy talked us into this one. BUT very happy we kept and after adjusting settings, the picture quality is much clearer and better than the comparable Samsung. The Samsung does have more vivid colors (our upstairs den has 55” 4K 7 series) but after watching same shows on both, the LG beats the Samsung by far for clarity and movement. Just beware that you’ll spend some time adjusting the settings. My father-in-law mentioned that their new Samsung 8 series TV had a glare/loss of picture unless sitting directly in front but our LG looked great at every angle! Only con is that Apple+ has to be AirPlay as the app is not available to download on TV but that’s the only con!

Brought this TV home (of course a very large box - barely fit in our Honda Pilot) and set it up quickly and easily. The picture is beautiful. We sat down for family movie night with our new TV and watched the live action Lion King in 4K. Unfortunately, immediately after the movie, a white line of dead pixels (?) appeared almost dead center in the middle of the screen from top to bottom. We returned the TV the next day and were given a new unit. We have not had a single issue since then.
*Side note: we disabled the Local Dimming feature which doing so (in our opinion) drastically improved the watchability of the TV, especially in low light situations.

I wanted to re-use my existing TV stand table. But if I needed mounting and service to mount, I would go all the way to 75 inch, but more than $1000. Initially ordered LG 75" Class - LED - UM6970PUB, which requires mounting and service for mounting it.
A few days before taking delivery, I found this LG 65 that has TV stand that would fit my table stand. So I cancelled LG 75 UM6970PUB and purchased this in store.
Box is able to fix the back of my SUV.
I set TV up with my wife. TV is light, but tt requires 2 people to handle it safely and is recommended.
The picture is awesome, and the higher refresh rate of 120hz makes a big difference. LG magic remote is very easy to use. Smart TV apps, such as youtube, disney+, netflix, loads very fast.
TV has many features. Having 3 USB 3.1 ports and 4 HDMI is awesome. I use 3 HDMI ports permanently, 1 for Roku, 1 for blu ray, 1 for hooking to camcorder. HDMI and USB ports are easily accessible.
I can plug an external hard drive to USB port, and this TV would be able to load the video and pictures quickly.
LG menu and setting is very easy to navigate. It has many presets to choose from. I like to use the "Vivid" mode.
I was very happy that I chose this over LG 75" UM6970PUB which gives me better refresh rate and better future proofing. Overall it costs less as I don't have to pay for mounting service.
I paired this with LG SL5Y 2.1CH soundbar, and able to control the volume using LG magic remote. You'll need to change a bit of audio settings to do that.
My slight complain is if you watch this in a dark room with "Vivid" picture settings for a long time, .. in my case 4+ hours continuous Netflix binging, then my eyes get tired and hurt.
I do notice white tearing around white text with black background, for example, at the beginning of a show. But it doesn't bother me much.
Overall happy display and this purchase. LG magic remote is great, and TV is easy to user.
My only regret is I could have got the LG 75 nano 8 series instead, but was too afraid that I could not get it down through my narrow stair case basement.

We purchased this set after prolonged research and debate. I lobbied for this set as I felt it represented a great value for picture quality, features, and refresh rate to replace our aging 12-year old primary television. We couldn't be happier with the purchase, once we got one that actually worked properly that is. The first set we received arrived with a cracked screen; the second had a defective screen (the background/backlight appeared to have some shadowy and physically wavy areas right in the center of the screen); and, the third and final set is what we now happily have, with no defects evident.
I would rate the full five stars if not for the fact that when I posted to the manufacturer's product support forum (with pictures) seeking guidance on what I'm now confident was a defective screen, a representative replied trying to convince me what we were experiencing was totally normal and a result of power saving features/settings. Kudos to Best Buy at this point for their customer service and hassle-free exchange of both the cracked screen and defective sets I mentioned. On that note, don't risk it and just have Best Buy deliver this thing. We did for the very reason of wanting the lowest hurdles possible in the event of any issues or defects with what represented a milestone purchase for our family, and every step of the delivery and return/exchange process was painless as a result.

The picture is beautiful. The remote and operating system are fantastic. I bought this TV while on sale and am extremely happy overall. Colors and picture are stunning. The one thing that is a weakness on this model is the backlight. The backlight aggressively grays portions of a black screen. This is very noticeable on dark title screens. It isn’t a concern for me but others might take issue with it. But the colors are vibrant and I’m overall really happy with the purchase.

I purchased the LG 65" Nano 8 Series TV on July 5, 2019. The blacks are outstanding as are the bright colors including the whites. The 4K shows on Netflix are a joy to behold. This unit replaced a five year old smart set and one of the noticeable differences is the incredibly fast connection to Netflix and Amazon Prime. Almost immediate with a 60Mbps download speed. The Magic Remote is also exceptional with dedicated buttons for Netflix and Prime; furthermore, the ability to point speeds up all selection processes. Finally, the built in speakers are very good although I use my home theater system which is easily controlled by the Magis Remote; again, the set up was intuitive and all systems can be controlled by this one remote. Highly recommend for features and quality of picture and sound.

I bought this TV to replace a 60" Vizio 4k that started to develop dark spots. The picture on this TV is excellent and the magic remote is amazing. I would recommend this TV to anyone looking for an inexpensive, high quality TV with high end features. The one con I can say is that if you use the stand, it is very wobbly. It would be better to have feet on the outside for a TV of this size rather than this type of stand.
