I really like LG products, and this TV has great picture quality overall. The setup is easy, considering it's a smart TV. The interface is intuitive and feels almost like the setup of a video game look and feel. Quality of construction seemed well made. The only criticism I had is the darks/blacks were not great, considering the mid-range price point. Darks were grainy and blacks had a difficult time with smooth transitions to medium dark areas of the screen. If you are mostly watching sports, reality TV, game shows, sitcoms, news, weather channel type shows, then you're good...but if you're watching movies, Netflix series, etc, then you might want to compare the darks to other TVs in this price range.

When my son was moving into his first apartment, we bought this TV because it was on sale for a great price. Turns out it has a great picture too. Love the remote control and its pointer. Nice to have a lot of LG channels built in as well as numerous apps. Color is great as is picture detail with simple intuitive set-up a plus.

The quality of the picture is great and the installation was easy. We did purchase a sound bar to go with the tv and it was easy to install and added to a better sound. The remote is fairly intuitive so it’s pretty easy to use to navigate from cable to dvr to a streaming service.

I am very impressed with this unit. Much better picture then our 4 year old sharp that it replaced. Love the radio controlled on and off button. You can be pointing at the opposite wall and it will still work. Controls are easy to use and having the guide is a real plus. Also the picture it self is better then we had hoped it would be.

The technology has advanced since we bought our last TV. The picture quality is superb, the features on the remote are far more advanced than our last one. Setting it up was simple and it guided me thru it with ease. I am well pleased and considering buying another one.

Easy setup. This also has a built-in web browser which does not require an app with a subscription! That's was a key factor in selecting LG. I ruled out Sony (Android) & the Roku-based models for this reason. My research discovered that to enable web-browsing on those models is a pain & $. Ruled out Samsung because this LG is replacing one of their 60" models which spotted out after only 2 years.
Turned off the Energy Saver to get a brighter screen - my preference. I haven't started adjust display settings yet, but I may not need to. The remote can operate DirectTV but I choose not to do this.

I'm not big into watching a lot of TV so I needed a 4K screen that had vibrant colors and didn't break my bank too much. This one has been perfect for me. I've had it for over two years and have never had technical issues with it. I don't really need OLED so this is a bit of a step down from that technology but good enough for me not being a TV enthusiast. My only gripe is that it didn't have all the apps I needed (Crunchyroll mainly) but it did have the mainstream ones like Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, etc.

I had a hard time deciding between the 8 Series and the 9 Series. The biggest difference being how each of them are back-lit. The 8 Series has Local Dimming, where the 9 Series has Full Array Local Dimming. Basically, you will get better blacks and contrast with the 9 Series. However, I am more than happy with the Local Dimming on this TV. You only really notice it when you are on a dark background and in a menu. You can watch the cursor light each zone, and sometimes there can be slight blooming.
All in all, the picture quality on this TV is incredible. I really was blown away. If you have the money, go for the 9 Series. However, it may be hard to really tell a difference between the two. I think this is one of the absolute best televisions at its price point. So far, I regret nothing with my purchase decision.

This is my first LG tv and I could not be happier. The features are what sold me on the tv. My mom and I love the connectivity with our smart devices, ease of use and overall picture quality. Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime videos look amazing, but the tv does lack in the deep blacks department. I think the tv looks fabulous in both bright and dark rooms. The edge lit LEDs don't degrade the picture quality when the room is dark as some on here have professed. We are talking minute details. The pure 120hz display makes fast moving objects look more smooth, but I think a pure 240hz option should come standard for televisions over 60in. Overall, a fantastic tv!

Picture quality is awesome. I was originally apprehensive to use WEBOS LG's user interface . But i am sure glad i purchased this.
The webos system is smooth and easy to navigate and especially using the Magic Remote. The remote is really great. Takes a few times using but afterward you will wonder why al tv;s dont have these features.
Ive had Lg products before and i was alwasy happy with the product.
You will not be disappointed in this TV. You will love everything about it...
Oh yeah i connected this to my door bell and Alexa. EZ to do!
Comcast has a interface app so you will need any boxes for service.

Picture is out of this world. Love the smart remote with pointer. The speakers are amazing..... they sound like a soundbar!!! I would buy this tv 10 times over! It’s quick.... power it up and it’s instantly ready to go!!!! The wallpaper makes the tv look like a piece of artwork. I’m a LG fan for life (I used to be Sony Bravia fan). Love that airplay and mirroring for Apple products are included!

The picture on this set is great in a brighter room. Once you go dark you see where the IPS edge lit display is flawed. The LED local dimming is not great so it doesn't really help. The blacks simply aren't black enough and more of a grey or blue. As far as gaming goes, this set is great. It's quick and responsive. I hated the magic remote at first but it really grey on me. Made the smart apps more navigable and faster at entering keyboard info. Stand is flimsy with one stand mount point in the center. Waking around the TV you can see it wobble. They should have had two side legs instead.

We are happy with our purchase of this TV! Our Mitsubishi TV was acting up over a one month period, so it was time to start checking out TV's again, which I hadn't done for quite a few years. I did some quick studying and came up with this LG as we were faced with the pandemic covid 19 and my wife having an upcoming surgery, so she needed a new source of entertainment while recovering. This TV has a great picture and the colors are so much more vivid than our old one. The curbside service from Best Buy was awesome, so it ended up being a very smooth transaction!

We bought our first LG4K TV in 2016. Loved it except for the occasional motion blur. We moved in August and the moving company broke our TV and refused to cover it, so we were left with nothing. After 3 months, we decided to buy this LG Nano 8 Series. We pontificated an OLED, but for the price of $899, we couldn't pass it up. BestBuy delivered it, we set it up. Super easy as before. This TV looks so much better than our last model and responds much quicker, too. We only use AppleTV for all our streaming services, no cable. Netflix, Hulu, movies, all look great. I prefer the Vivid setting. Our bose sounder run via optical and sounds great. For the price, you simply cannot beat this TV. Next is the 86" LG after we buy the new house and this TV will end up in the gaming room.

My 2.5 year old Samsung TV began to show white spots on the screen. I refused to repair it and asked Bestbuy to take it away at time of delivering this formidable LG Nano TV. I was looking to purchase a TV for less than $1,000 until I looked at the image of this LG TV. At the store, I stopped to compare its image to those more expensive QLED units. Yes, there is a difference, but this Nano TV is very close. The image is outstanding, far better than other cheaper units at the store. The Magic remote really rocks. I paid $1,099 and cannot be happier. I highly recommend this TV. It will not disappoint.

Although our 47" TV was still working very well, and had a nice 1080P picture, recent experiences with larger screen TVs had me looking for a larger TV that had a center post stand that would fit well on top of our 35" TV stand. Nearly all the larger TVs I had shopped now come with two widely separated mounts, requiring either a wide TV stand or wall-mounting (and we have our TV near our picture home's picture windows). This TV caught my attention because it's center-mount stand was only 33" wide, and I had been impressed with the picture quality of large screen LG TVs in our recent hotel visits.
We caught a good sale price at Best Buy, and loved the free delivery option, which removed concerns about fitting the box into our sedan and dragging up the stairs to our house. Best Buy delivered it to the family room, and the instructions for assembling the stand, mounting the TV, and setting up the connections were clearly described by the enclosed manual. (One tricky aspect was that the stand's screws did not have corresponding holes drilled; so a power drill screwdriver was helpful in screwing them into where they belonged).
Connecting to our wi-fi router was easy, and validating Apps such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, and others was fairly easy, using the TV's remote and its keyboard that turns on when you click on the sign-on screen displayed in the TV for each App.
The picture and sound quality are excellent, with a wide viewing angle and great details. Blu-ray DVDs and high-definition content from the Apps are especially vivid.
The Internet browser is useful, with either a keyboard (via the remote and it's "pointer-mouse," or voice search), keeping in mind that it does not have advanced security features. Therefore you can't download Apps from the Google Play Store, and you have to use the pre-loaded Apps, augmented by those available at LG's own App site. That does not include Apps such as Spectrum, or Vice (at this time); so we use our Roku to supplement the TV's Apps, along with a digital antenna for "local channels," and the fairly wide list of TV channels that LG also provides.
Others have noted that the plastic stand is rather flimsy, with more "play" than one might prefer, but as long as you don't bump into the TV abruptly, it seems fairly stable. The stand also does not rotate, but the TV is light enough that you can twist it, exercising some care, should you wish to change the viewing angle.
In summary, this is a Smart TV with a beautiful picture, flexible sound settings, and a very good value.

At first I was hesitant purchasing LG Nano Cell Tv since I have never owned and LG product and the review were not the best. I am so glad I took a chance. Leaps and bounds better than the other brand of TV I owned.
I have had it for one month and now that we are in place sheltered we are really using it. Great colors, brightens is good in a bright room as for a dark room, Viewing it in different angles is also better than the Samsung I owned,
