This tv has not given me any problems and I have had this tv since 2019. Has a lot of apps and options to do so much such as screen mirror, blue tooth, and so much more. By just being connected to my WiFi I get free channels as well.

    Poor picture

Thought I was upgrading from a 2012 Sony 1080p tv. The Sony has a better picture. Much much better color and contrast. Can’t tell at all this is supposed to be 4K and I’ve been changing settings for a week to try to improve the picture. The sound is better than my old TV and this one is 120hz so action scenes are not blurry but over all I would not recommend this TV at all. I will stick with Sony.

I've owned this tv for 3+ years. We really enjoy our LG washer/dryer so wanted to give their tvs a chance. (came from samsung). The main thing I've noticed in a room w a lot of daylight is that it's nowhere near bright enough to overcome that. Also in low light, there's a setting that dynamically lightens certain parts of the scene, then moves around... I couldn't dislike that feature more. SUPER distracting. the lowlight scene capability of the tv has been pretty frustrating. Currently wouldn't consider an LG again. $1200 didn't go nearly as far as I hoped it would on this one :(

We were pleased until warranty expired and white “spots” started appearing. We learned these are failed led defusers. So far there are 5 spots along the bottom of the screen.

    Worst tv I've ever bought.

So to start this review off I’m going to say I’ve had mine for a little over two years. In that time my remote has completely fallen apart. I bought the extension plan for it because why not, after a year of using it, my tv started showing this unknown device disconnected in the top right corner. It would pop up 10-20 times in a row while using the TV. Then after a week of that happening the tv wouldn’t connect to the WiFi at all. I would go to network and try to reconnect and it would say that the WiFi connection was turned off, which is odd because I’ve never turned it off while using it. So then I did a hard reset and it still wasn’t working. Then I got the extended coverage company included into it and they took forever to actually send someone out to get it fixed and when he did finally come out, he said the entire motherboard had failed along with the WiFi chip that’s in the tv. I thought to myself that okay, things happen and it could have been a faulty tv. He fixed it and then I had no more problems. I then looked into the problem and saw that THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE were experiencing the same problem. This entire brand of TV’s is a joke and I HIGHLY recommend to not buy because 4 months after the ENTIRE motherboard and WiFi chip were replaced after I was told it was brand new and I wouldn’t have to ever worry about it happening again it went bad again. To this day I’ll never ever recommend anyone to buy this terrible brand of tvs.

    LGs are terrible

I bought a very expensive LG from Best buy. LG has decided not to integrate with ESPN. I have spoken with LG multiple times. If you want something more than the canned apps they provde dont bother. The operating system is very limited. LGs response was F off. I have given up and I am going to return this piece of junk.

Many times picture quality troubles can be resolved with a few tweaks to the settings. We have a help library article that recommends the settings for getting the best picture settings: https://www.lg.com/us/support/product-help/CT10000018-20150577528034-menu-settings If you're in need of some guidance with using your TV, please head to our support page at @LGUSSupport on Twitter or you can give us a call at 800-243-0000 so a specialist can help out. ^CP LG
