Set up difficult

Not a good tv

If you have something full-screen It's actually an amazing picture but I just could not get past the edge-lit problem. If you want a nano TV get one of the nine series the 90 and the 95 are amazing.

DO NOT BUY LG

I don't normally write reviews but felt the need to. After a month this TV wouldn't turn on after sitting for long periods of time. The only way it would turn on is if I would un plug the TV from the back, and plug it back in. Then it would work immediately. The lighting when the screen is black would also illuminate sections of the screen when something would come across a darker picture. I've never even seen my sub par 10 year old TV do this. After calling LG, they said they'd fix it but refused to allow me to return or replace it. They said fixing it would take a few months. Poor product, extremely poor customer service. Ill never buy an LG product again!

Annoying static screen

And it seems like no matter what you do at a point again to hit the button and return to the static screen.

He didn’t take the time to explain the different types. Not happy with the TV and I’ll go somewhere else for my next big buy.

Inconstant color and contrast.

I'm making adjustments to it trying to make improvements. It is very inconsistent. Color and contrast changes from station to station and show to show. If I'm unable to get it adjusted I will soon call for help per my warranty.

Garbage

The screen has three verticals lines on it, black gray then black. The video quality is very poor, The movement is blurred, there is a time delay, the smart remote is really awful, and the color is off. Otherwise it’s fantastic.

My 1st Non Samsung tv(gaming)

(Since I **r e f u s e d** to pay Netflix textural for 4K!! ***But today I hooked up the New Xbox Series X and holy!!!! This thing rocks... (my Xbox One wasn’t 4K,,and my PS4 wasn’t the PS4pro..man this looks amazing..even before I got into a game it looks good.. —-even backwards Compatable Xbox360 game Brutal Legend looks noticeably enhanced.. I didn’t think this would happen to older games... —I use this Tv as my PC monitor too.. I just switch source from Xbox to PC and that’s that.. —my favorite perk that this tv has over my previous 1080p Samsung Is Bluetooth is way better.. ***Headphones..I use Beats Studio2 and Steelseries Arctis and as soon as I tune on either pair= The TV pop up screen asks me if I want to use em..boom, done! —doesn’t help with ‘headset’ as I still haveta go through the console but I also haven’t explored this yet with new Xbox.. Negatives -refresh rate is 50Hz not 120(dunno what it means) -the stand needs a matchbook in the idle-back so it doesn’t lean.. —ALL tv stands of this design always tend to lean backwards (Think of you needing to stand really tall to see it even) — solution- I cut paper and made a lil boost in back.. It’s outta sight and been a non issue since.. -price- we paid $$1200... Bottom line -I’m not saying I’m exclusive to LG now. But I will say that LG is 100% in my trusted rotation with Sony and Samsung.. it’s not on Sony quality level. It it is on Samsung’s......

Horrible TV

There was a black shadow around the top of the screen that I couldn’t get to go away no matter what I watched. I hated the remote. And to make matters even worse, Best Buy offered the same tv for cheaper less than 2 weeks after I purchased it, and refused the price match. I was happy to return it for the Samsung I purchased elsewhere.

Beware

At this point the TV is dead and the repair is over 400 dollars. This is the 3rd and last LG TV that I will ever buy. the 2 prior lasted 2 years this one didnt even make it that long.

Open Box Item That Didn’t Work

Would work for a bit then shut off. Controller didn’t work either. After setting up and hanging on the wall it was a disappointment to have to undo everything and then return to the store.
