Best Upgrade of My Life, No Regrets!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was super stoked to get a new TV for my room because I’m in the process of remodeling it. I watch a lot of TV so I really wanted to spoil myself and get a TV that I was going to love and be great for movie nights. Originally I was going to get a 50” but I fell in love with the 65” LG NanoCell. When I first installed it I was disappointed needless to say because I was expecting clearer, sharper quality right away. After messing around with the settings I just couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t get it to look like that store demos. But researching and finding out since my TV is 4K I needed a 4K device or upgrade my streaming services and get faster internet for that. There’s 4K and Ultra HD content out there compatible for your 4K TV’s. So if you have a 4K TV you may want to consider upgrading your cable, streaming device or service to that plan because that’s the only way you’re going to get the full experience. After figuring that out I’m back in love with my TV. Watching movies and animal and nature documentaries has been a treat. The colors are bold and beautiful, the image is clear and sharp. It makes whatever you’re watching look real (life-like). The built in apps are great and convenient. I have a fire stick but I found it better to just use the apps on the TV. Because you don’t have to use different remotes and keep switching from one HDMI channel to the next. The Magic remote it comes with is all you will need. But of course if you want to have other streaming devices it’ll still be good. I’ve yet to connect a game console to it yet, but I can’t wait to try that out and see how that experience is as well. The sound is great! I only need to turn the volume up to 7 and it’s already really loud (maybe because I’m in a small room) or maybe it’s really just that loud. Either way I don’t have to turn it up too much because I can hear it well with it being on 8 or 10. However I would think a sound bar will make it sound way better (which I will purchase in the future) but for now the sound is decent. It has 4 HDMI inputs which is great (My last TV only had 2). The TV is a great size, its pretty slim on the sides which is great space wise. Only complaints would be that it does glitch but I’m assuming it has something to do with the picture settings and internet speed (don’t quote me on that) but I notice when I’m watching Dolby Atmos content on Netflix it starts to glitch. Another thing is I wish the magic remote had lights or something on it to use at nighttime because it’s hard to see the buttons at night in a room with no light and the glare on the screen when you’re watching something in the daytime makes it hard to watch. Usually I just close my blinds a little or turn the TV away from the window. But Overall, I am pleased with this TV. I upgraded from a 40” Panasonic to this and this is just amazing. I wake up everyday and can’t believe how big it is for a room my size lol but no regrets. If you’re looking for a TV for a bedroom, living room or man/woman cave. This is it!

Great Picture!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We recently upgraded from a 6 year old 60' television to this new 65' LG Nanocell. We are so happy with our decision! The set up was so easy and the TV was ready to go in just a few minutes. It easily synced to our streaming device and we hooked it up to our internet for the fastest speed possible. The picture is wonderful. The colors are very vibrant with many modes to choose from to truly customize the viewing experience. The sound quality is impeccable. There is no reason to hook up our sound bar to this TV, it's that good. The sound can even be customized to what we are watching. My family watched the new Scoob! movie in cinema mode last Weekend and it was better than watching it at a theater. The magic remote is great and my kids love using it. It's completely interactive and has voice commands. The remote has shortcuts to Netflix and Prime video. It's so easy to point, click, and view my favorite shows. It easy connects with Alexa and I can also mirror my phone screen to view videos on a larger picture. I am so glad we purchased this TV. We cannot wait until we can watch live sports with the incredibly vivid picture.

Holy Cow!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Being an avid movie watcher and having never owned an LG TV before, I wondered if the NanoCell was really as great as it sounded. I mean, the TVs we already have showed a wonderful clear picture and have likeable smart features so how much better could this one be, right? Well, holy cow, Batman! First, I love the slim, simplistic design of the TV itself that gives me more screen than bulky casing. And it comes with enough HDMI and USB ports to leave all of our components and gadgets hooked up. Initial set up was easy so we were actually enjoying the TV in almost no time. The Magic Remote is a huge plus because it made inputting log-in details and selecting options a snap with its computer mouse like pointer and roller ball. The TV executed commands quickly, too. Now, on to the picture quality. I may never be the same again! The images are so clear and sharp that I felt like I could actually be inside the screen or that I only had to stick out my hand to actually touch them. Watching action movies and playing video games are simply out of this world now. I also like that I can sit anywhere in the room and still feel like I’m immersed in the picture. And I have to say, I was very pleasantly surprised with the TV’s internal sound quality. I have a sound bar, but don’t really need it too much because the TV’s is often sufficient on its own. Overall, I may have just become LG’s next fan.

Very solid 4K TV with only relatively minor flaws.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first 4K TV and as such, I did a lot of research to make sure that this model had all of the modern features. Overall, I am very satisfied with the product. I've never had an LG TV before but find their smart TV interface very intuitive. It's extremely easy to add/navigate your favorite streaming services, the remote is super user friendly, and the picture quality is top notch. I've seen some reviews of this model say that the HDR is not as effective as other models but for a non-OLED TV, I think this is the best you can get, and the price also reflects that. If you have $500 more in your budget, sure, go ahead and by the entry level OLED model (at 55", not 65" based on pricing at the time of this review) to get a better picture, but for the price I think this is one of the best 65" 4K TVs you can buy. Two cons that are worth mentioning. The first is that about a month after I purchased the TV, it went on sale for about $100 cheaper but after two separate attempts to have Best Buy credit me the difference, they were unable to match the price (something about even my original price being a promotion). Obviously I was a bit disappointed/surprised that they couldn't do anything about it (ironically, I was entitled to completely return the TV and reorder at the lower price, I just don't have a car big enough to take a 65" TV back to the store myself). The second con is that if you are not using any traditional cable provider or antennae to get channels, there is no way to make the default input a built in app like YouTube TV. Every time you turn the TV on, it defaults to the actual TV input where there is obviously no signal and surprisingly, I don't think there is a way to change this. The only solution that was remotely helpful was going into the settings and having it stop trying to find channels, which at least prevents the TV from projected static and a blaring white noise. Every time I turn it on, I still have to then manually select what streaming service to launch. It would be great if you could specify that you always want it to open to a specific app.

Another Homerun for LG
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I upgraded my old LG 55” to this new 65” and couldn’t be happier. Build quality is great, the TV feels and looks solid. It was easy to mount on the wall with a very clean back. The right angle plug is a great feature which let me mount it flush with the wall. I’m very happy with the picture quality, blacks look black. The remote is cool and uses their magic remote technology which lets you point the remote at the tv and use it like a mouse. Makes navigating the menus abs typing in network passwords much easier. This is a great TV and I highly recommend it.

Great Picture, Great Quality - Would Buy Again
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read some of the reviews on this TV before buying. Some folks weren't happy with the local dimming and the bleed through of the light to other areas of the screen. All I can say is that I've had this tv in my living room for two weeks now and have not experienced any issues with the local dimming. It's exactly what I've come to expect from a high quality LED TV and the contrast is exceptional! The lighting is incredibly well done and I have no concerns or regrets about buying this TV. Further, I think LG has one of the best Smart TV operating systems on the market and it's able to do everything I could need and more. The magic remote is the icing on the cake. Some people may not like the RF based pointer, if so, you can disable it but I find it very intuitive and easy to use. It's also incredibly useful as a programmable remote as I was able to use it to adjust volume on my stereo receiver as well as other media you may want to connect to the tv. If I had to say anything bad about the tv, it would be the speakers. But to be honest, I don't think anyone really expects the sound on tvs of this caliber to be great. It's passable, that's without a doubt. But given this TV is typically something of a living room centerpiece, I would expect most buyers to have a sound bar at the very least or a surround system to pair with the TV: of which it does an exceptional job. Bottom Line - I would recommend this TV to anyone looking for a top line LED that doesn't want to pay the extra $500 for an OLED.

LG performs
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My grandson broke our Samsung and I was happy with that but this LG is even more vivid and colors really pop. We watch basketball and we can see the players faces better on the LG. Nintendo Switch gameplay is awesome. Also, it is easy to navigate apps with wand controller. So far so good in our ownership of this television. We bought extended warranty as these new TVs seem more fragile.

LG TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picture quality is great and the remote control is great to use. Never had any issues. It's true the color is more vivid and darker then Samsung TVs. So, it depends what you are planning to use and what is your preference.

Great picture, great color at a decent price
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has been awesome! We waited a long time to replace our TV and finally settled on this one. We were unsure if we would like it as much as the QLED that we wanted but the picture is great. (And this was significantly less than a QLED.) 4K videos are crystal clear. The colors are brilliant and not over/under saturated. There are several color preset options to choose from in the TV settings so I recommend playing with those if you're viewing an entire movie but the standard setting is a good setting across the board if you don't want to have to fiddle with it. Also, this might be silly, but I really like the way the remote acts as a mouse if you want it to. It makes it easy to maneuver around.

Good Value for the Money!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good TV. Bright, sharp images. Responds well to the remote. Brightness needed to be adjusted for facial tones. Initially facial images were very bright and washed out. After a number of adjustments they are more normal.

Great tv
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from a 1080 dlp tv. And this thing is way better. So let’s start with what is cool and good about this tv: tv has free sync for gamers which I am and it works better than my omen monitor on omen gaming computer. So that’s a lot said there alone. In Dolby vision Dolby atmos movies look so fake that it is so vivid. Or should I say real. Not sure. I with that said I really like how this tv looks. No doubt that this tv is impressive. Now, cons: does not receive antenna local channels on its own. You’ll have to buy a separate antenna. But it does get like 200+ internet channel for free without download like Pluto some world news stations and some other types of channels. The programs on these channels aren’t really anything I’d sit and watch. So doesn’t really matter. Now when it’s on wifi these channels take a little while to adjust and something with internet browser. I plugged mine in directly to internet via Ethernet and there is a big difference. This tv will not be able to do ESPN app or HBO max app. Which to me is whack. But you can get both those on an Xbox so it’s fine by me. Tv will do Disney plus and Netflix Hulu and much much more. This tv is great! I love this tv so much I am planning on getting a bigger one for the main living room. It is impressive. Oh and the remote is cool too. It’s easy. Makes things go faster. Hope this review helps.

Great TV for the money!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first LG TV purchase and I'm very pleased. The picture is great and even in our bright room with sun pouring in, the picture is clear and details pop. I was considering the 65" OLED LG, but decided to save the money on the TV and add the LG sound bar as well. I've been very pleased and recommend this set up. My kids love the magic remote because it works like the Nintendo Wii remote!

Picture is amazing
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced the Sony 900h with the nano cell 90 due to the Sony not supporting VRR and ALLM in the 900h. The lg is amazing the picture is amazing and colors really pop. The OS is easy to use and I love the magic remote. This is an IPS panel which means it has great viewing angles and there is almost no reflection on the panel. I have a fairly bright living room so works great. This may not be the right fit for viewing in total darkness.
