My warranty was good for two years. Mine was a model B6 (2016) comparable to this B8. Good luck with your LG, manufacturer was no help at all. It’s really funny, manufacturer never heard of a problem like this. Since it was out of warranty they told me they WOULDN’T help me. I will not buy anymore of their China products. I have a 40” Sony Bravia that’s been running beautifully for over 15 years. Any future tv’s will be a Samsung or Sony.

Unfortunately, if you do anything else you get screen burn in. I've had mine 2 years and it looks horrible - it's to the point where I notice it in every movie and TV show I watch. I play video games a few nights a week. Pros: Looks gorgeous Cons: Burn in. Artifacts with motion smoothing. Remote isn't very usable as a all-in-one. Had to buy another true universal remote.
