Amazing Tv
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.been wanting an OLED for awhile now, and im very happy of how beautiful this tv looks, I game a lot and I care about picture quality way too much, and OLED deff gets all the star I can give. I still own my Samsung KS8000 LED 4ktv and that Tv looks amazing, but OLED perfects it even more with the perfect black. pictures seems to pop way more.

still the best
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Over 4 years of excellent crisp pictures. The major worries about an OLEd tv were that frequent images would burn in the leds but I have not experienced that. Also its just as vibrant as the day I got it,

It's All True
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Most of the professional reviewers rate this tv as one of the best you can buy. After spending months with this tv, I can honestly say that everything they praise about it is true. I've never seen such a great picture on a tv and I've never noticed any kind of burn in. I can't wait to see what LG does next!

Buy one
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a 65" Samsung 4k that was ok, but far from anything great. Started reading up on the LG OLED'S, after a little research, realized these are the best TV's available today. Waited for prices to drop, and the week before the SuperBowl, the 65" LG B8 was on sale for 1999.00. Jumped on that price, and wow, even better than I had hoped. All glass screen with a bezel so small you forget it is there. Movies, sports, everything looks beautiful. If you are buying a TV at this price point, don't listen to this beauty on the TV speakers, get a sound bar, sound system, something. Only had it for a couple weeks now, love it, can't imagine it gets much better than this.

Picture is Great but it doesn't last
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was so excited to get an OLED tv and this tv didn't disappoint, at first. The blacks were amazing and it is incredibly thin. After a year you started to notice a color difference across the bottom and top of the screen. It was just like what would happen to early plasma's when you watch SD cable and the surround the picture with vertical or horizontal black areas. Also there started to be a logo from a station burned into the lower right corner. Both of things could be construed as a fault of mine. One could say that you should have enlarged the picture on sd format or you shouldn't have left it on Nickelodeon for your kids for so long. This is true, however, the CEO of LG stated that their OLEDs would not experience screen burn-in for 30,000 hours. Even if you watched tv for 20 hours a day it would still take 4 years. Then it got worse. Now, when there is a screen that is yellow or red there becomes a circle in the middle that is completely different. It fades to green if it's yellow and purple for red. I contacted LG and uploaded all the documents they requested and then nothing, no response. I have tried to contact them and get somewhere 5 times. Don't buy LG products and definitley get the service plan.

Great OLED tv for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv a couple days ago and so far I am very pleased with the picture quality. The richness of colors it displays is incredible. I was looking to upgrade my 4K entry model LG tv and I looked at other brands and selected this tv because it’s picture was every bit as good as the more expensive models. Glad I did, I saved some money and got a beautiful tv.

Finally what I was looking for!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture can not be beat, Upscaling looks almost as good as native, Side viewing not a problem. Remote even has an on screen pointer to point and click on things rather than trying to fumble though them. Price has come down on these, so you will want to look at one before buying something you will regret later.

Clear As A Bell
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV is really worth the investment. LG is always a reliable brand, most of our appliances are LG so it it always a first choice for any new tech we buy. This TV has a fabulous clear picture and no fuzzing around the edges. If I had to critic anything about it it would be the speakers. Not that I expect much when it comes to the internal speakers in any TV, but I would suggest getting a decent soundbar when you purchase this. Makes for a better viewing experience.

Picture is Great but severe burn in at 5500 hours
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this TV in July 2016 (LG OLED65B6P-U). The picture and features of this TV are Great however; I have had this TV for less than 3 years and after only 5500 hours of use it has developed a severe burn in of the screen from a network logo and a 5" green shadow near the bottom of the screen. I also have a 55" Plasma TV (not LG) that is about 12 years old and still has no burn in at all. I have read much of the documentation on this TV and have tried many times to run the "Clear panel feature" in an attempt to fix the problem. Nothing will work and now I am stuck with a $5300 TV with annoying burn in. I did not purchase the extended warranty and was told by LG support that I will have to pay to have it repaired because the warranty is only for 1 Year. Do Not purchase an OLED LG TV. They don't last.

Amazing picture
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV is awesome. Coming from a nice Samsung set, other than moving from a 55 inch to a 65 inch, I wasn’t expecting that much of a difference. 4K looks unreal. Super happy with my purchase

Mediocre Quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great picture while it lasts. I had the 65b6p and it made it just passed 2 years and started with an error message and then the center of the panel turned green. I just find it hard to justify 4k on a tv that doesn't last. Once you search the problems you see they are very common and LG dosent think there is any issue. Mine is out of warranty so I have only the complaint of quality. I have cheaper 65 in in my garage that is a Sony and 5yrs old with extreme heat and cold year round. That has 0 issues. I have a 4 yr old 60 Samsung that has 0 issues and I didnt spend as much on those 2 combined. I'll stick to my cheaper stuff. That way I'm not mad if they struggle to make it 24 months.

Posted .That's unfortunate to know you've encountered an error with the OLED-B8 series smart television. I see how this can be aggravating since you've only owned the unit a little over 2-yrs and now experiencing annoyances like the center panel turning green unexpectedly. I do appreciate the review needed to alert us about this dilemma. Burn-in Issue
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own a LG OLED B6 series TV. The video quality of these TVs are top notch, after two years of usage, I started noticing burn-in issues which is not covered by the extended warranty, LG has denied fixing the panel burn-in issue as it has passed standard one year warranty(courtesy repair request was denied), also, the standard 1 year warranty may or may not cover based on conversation I had with the LG customer support. This will be my first and last LG TV(bye bye).
