Great bang for your buck
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really love this TV ! Excellent picture , and good viewing angles . The sound was much better than I expected . The apps , and web browser work very well . There is a lot of content available much of it free. This was on sale at a competitor Best Buy price matched there price so I bought it from them as I always had a good experience with them . The only drawback to this TV is that it only has three HDMI inputs which is common for TVs in this price range .

Wouldn't recommend
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this in early December after comparing similarly priced 65-inch TVs from the usual suspects, Samsung, LG, Vizio, etc. Based on the picture quality, we felt that this LG was maybe slightly better than the 7100 series Samsung. After wall mounting and setting up the TV, we initially watched content on DirecTV and streaming on Netflix. Since we were going to cancel our DirecTV at the end of the billing cycle, I also signed up for the free trial of YouTube TV. Since we did not have a Roku, Chromecast, etc., I downloaded the YouTube TV app through the LG app store. It installed fine, and then we swapped between the satellite feed of DirecTV and the streaming feed of YouTube TV. Then the problems started a couple of days later. While watching YouTube TV it would randomly kick you out of whatever show you were watching live to the channel menu. Sometimes it would do it a couple of times per hour, or sometimes you could go a few hours without this happening. At first I thought it might be a YouTube TV problem, but then after searching on Google I found that many users on Reddit were reporting it was due to the LG YouTube TV app. It was also reported that LG was aware of the issue and that a fix was being looked into, and would hopefully be taken care of in an update. At that point, we didn't really mind so much about this, because the plan was to get a Roku device to allow for watching other streaming content, and there would be no need to use the LG YouTube TV app. That's when the dealbreaker problem started. While watching the NFL wild card weekend games, the picture began intermittently cutting out. The screen would just go black for a second or two and come back. It would do this several times a minute, and then maybe be okay for awhile, and then do it again. It would do this with all sources, DirecTV, YouTube TV, Netflix, etc. The sound would be okay during these glitches though. We took it off the wall, boxed it back up, and returned it. Since I have three other TVs in the house, all Samsungs with a good track record of reliability, I picked up the 7100 series Samsung instead. Obviously YMMV, and we could have just gotten a lemon, but I can't recommend this TV based on our experience.

Excellent TV
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought mine on sale for $529.99 and it has been great. I already owned the 55" version and decided on another LG. My only complaint is the width of the legs. It is on the very edges of my entertainment center and I did not want to wall mount it. The magic remote is awesome, connectivity is great, 4K looks great, Alexa works well, and there are a good selection of apps but it is missing Pluto TV (I use PS4 and FireTV for this).

Great TV for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We originally wanted to purchase this tv but ended up buying a different one but when we got home the screen was cracked everywhere so we had to wait until the next day to return it since the store was closed. So we went with our original decision but had to wait for it to be delivered since they were out of stock. But this tv definitely does not disappoint us. The picture quality is excellent. I use a sound bar so I can’t say as to the speakers but I’m sure they are great too. I like the built in apps and haven’t had a chance to explore more with them but signing into Hulu and Netflix was very easy. So for the size of this tv and the price we are very happy.

Amazing great value for the money
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I may be a little bias on this. Because I was upgrading from a 720p 46 inch. But all I can say is wow. I'm amazed by the picture quality and the ability to upres. I did alot of shopping around and looking at different brands. I have this TV in my living room with a big bay window so there's alot of natural light. Having the led back lighting through the entire screen vs only having it around the edge is a must. This TV is excellent buy great value for the money
