Here I am on a Tuesday evening and I just sat down to watch TV. I took my dog outside for 5 mins and came back in to find a well defined red vertical line about 3/4 of the way through the screen. It is there on every input, after a hard reset, etc. And to think I thought nothing could be worse than the horrible Vizio TVs I've dealt with in the past. My apologies to Vizio... I already regret choosing LG. As one other reviewer mentioned, color bleed was definitely evident on this TV as well. I hadn't yet had the chance to do an in-depth color calibration and setup before the unit failed so I can't comment on whether this can be improved upon.
