Solid affordable 70" tv

It looks like a weird whitewash on the whatever section of the screen is displaying some content. Not sure if this is a consistent issue across all of these or there's just something off with mine.

The TV's fine, but you can't expect fantastic when it's relatively low-end. The menu system is really slow, as others have pointed out. The one thing that I detest is LGs active lighting (or whatever it's called). Basically, it's the approach of turning of the edge lighting in dark areas to make black seem blacker. Fine, but it only turns off the top and bottom lights, not the side lights, so the end results is a darker area to the left and right of the object and the object is floating on a not so dark column. Really ugly during credits. I'd prefer a not-so-dark black everywhere over this gimmicky technology. You can adjust the "sensitivity"; wish you could turn it off!

This unit does not disappoint as the picture is amazing, lightweight for its mammoth size, and the built in smart wifi functions make it a breeze to cut the cord from cable robbers!
