    I am disappointed at how blurry regular TV shows are even in HD. Blu-ray is spectacular so I am guessing it is more due to the low quality signal rather than the TV. I’m not sure. I have DirecTV.

    I have to adjust the volume the entire time while watching tv. That's a little annoying. I can't pick up any HD channels. I bought three or four different flat digital antennas and neither picked up and channels.

    Dark Screen Problems

    With bright pictures, this TV is excellent—amazing picture quality. With dark scenes, however, there is a HUGE problem. Any light areas of the screen have vertical light streaks up and down the screen. We had an LG certified repairman check it, and he said there’s nothing wrong with it, but there is no way this is right. It’s very annoying and off putting to watch any shows or movies with dark scenes. We have this exact same TV in 50” and it does not have this problem. Won’t buy another LG TV.

    Turn off the screen power save MODE!!

    Make sure you turn off the screen power save mode. Lack a instruction book, was disapointed in the picture quality until, we turned off the screen power save future. HDMI 1 input was dead straight out of the box.

    This TV worked just fine for the first 15 months I owned, until last night when the wifi failed completely. After a little research, I discovered that this is a known issue with LG Smart TVs and there is no fix for it. Furthermore, I hate the user interface. It is not intuitive and some apps that are available for other brands (specifically, HBOGo) are not available for LG. I have three Samsungs, all of which are better overall.

    Terrible motion blur/images move too fast

    First of all let me say this was my first LG TV purchase. I’ve heard their higher end models are great, and I was hoping for a good experience since I found a great deal on this TV at Best Buy. The reviews looked good, so I went ahead with the purchase. Unfortunately the motion rate at 120hz (75hz actually) with LG’s TruMotion 120 just looks terrible. Watched a 4K movie and everything looked “sped up” and motion blur was really bad. Returned and exchanged for a Samsung NU8000 series (hassle free return at Best Buy) and couldn’t be happier!

    2 months in and already issues with sound

    We were so excited to get this tv and so far it has let us down in multiple ways. The set up process was not user friendly, but that’s the least of it. One day the screen decided to flicker with green hues and half of the image was upside down - customer service was responsive but their answer was to reset to factory settings, which means we have to redo all the setting up we’ve already done. The biggest issue though is the sound, we’ve only had the tv for 2 months and already there’s a frequency that is creating a tinny sound - it’s incredibly distracting and I’m worried it’s going to keep getting worse. This tv is brand new and these issues should not be happening already.

    i brought this tv and had geek install it . It was a nice size tv but didn't care for the picture. When geek squad came back to pick it up they took my other tv plug with them
