First off I would like to state that I really appreciate the delivery service that I received from the Best Buy’s delivery team. They were very professional. I appreciate the customer service we need more like them. I was a little weary when they arrived the package the television is really big I had no idea why the delivery team was taking photos for the delivery but I get it’s proof of delivery. FYI THE TV IS VERY LARGE IN SIZE ITS A 2 PERSON INSTALL. I PURCHASE THIS TV ON BLACK FRIDAY ITS WORTH EVERY DIME.

I wasn't originally in the market for a TV, but seeing this doorbuster deal at Best Buy, and I couldn't pass it up. Well worth the price even if it wasn't on sale. Pictures look crisp and clear.

So I'll start off by saying I really enjoy this TV, especially compared to my 3 year old 4k Sony Bravia. The size, design and picture quality are all great (given you use the right settings). However, I'm giving it a 1 star review because of what's essentially a major failure of the hardware in the TV. And from talking to the LG tech, it happens to a handful of other TVs of the same model. Only 4 months after buying this TV, and some 300 hrs of view time on the TV, the processor/motherboard has failed. Fortunately it's under manufacturer warranty now, and they'll fix it, but it's a pain nonetheless, and who's to say it'll last after it's fixed? I can turn the TV on just fine, but when I start playing a video (youtube, netflix, prime), the audio cuts out, switches to internal speaker and then the controls fail. It's near impossible to do anything and it seems the processor can't handle its workload. I've talked to a tech and he verified that it's an issue he's seen with this same model (or at least the ones built in china) and it comes down to a failed processor, and doing a board swap fixes the issue. While it may be getting fixed, I have to schedule time off from work and unmount the 75lb TV from my wall to have it fixed. All this over a TV I paid $800 for only 4 months ago. Excellent TV when it works, but I've never seen a TV have a major failure only 4 months into owning it. Shoot, even my old Dynex I sold to a friend and Westinghouse in the spare bed are still kickin years later.

I was very skeptical buying an inexpensive TV, however this TV exceeded all of my expectations. Playing 1080p movies looked great. I use the ISF picture options for it mimics the colors a lot better. I still adjust some of the backlighting, contrast etc to achieve the picture that I like. Overall the picture clarity is GREAT. Can’t wait to get my 4k HDR Blu-ray player delivered. Only downside is that it doesn’t have Dolby Vision as 1 of the options.

Would give this 5 stars since its an amazing cheap 70 inch TV for $699 with good picture quality. Finally upgraded to 4k after years of 1080p. But, 3 weeks in and my HDMI 3 didnt have signal, tried everything until I read one of the comments that you have to reset your TV in settings and worked. I wonder if next firmware update can fix it or wonder if its an Issue with the TV by itself.

Open box buy for $679. Added the 5 year protection for $159. Picture is good! Is it 240 hertz good? No. However for the price it cannot be beat! This is an awesome TV for the price point! Love the Netflix now button on the remote! Super intuitive! Doesn't skip a beat! If you want the best entry level large screen TV this is it!

Very Good Quality 5 years and still as new. Very Good for the price

The tv is a great size at 70 inches and the frame is visually nice. The picture quality is decent. Smart ability is horrible. I connected to my WiFi to use the smart features but all the video streaming apps were just way too slow so I had to switch to my PlayStation. I do not have the PS4 pro so I cannot say for sure how much better the picture quality is with the apps being able to stream 4K. I’ve had the tv for a year now and try from time to time to connect to my WiFi with no luck.(my tv did not stay connected to my WiFi and can no longer search for any networks) just keeps showing that it’s searching for networks, will never go away and never find any. Keep in mind, I have a Samsung 8500 series upstairs along with countless other devices connected to my WiFi and let’s just say comparing these 2 TV’s is just silly. So to wrap up my review, you only pay for the size and an ok picture with this one. People here who are ecstatic with the smart features has never been spoiled with samsung’s smart hub. I know LG has way better TV’s then this one. A classic large budget tv with a name brand.

The picture and the sound on the LG 70 " are amazing. I had an lg before and decided to get larger, I loved my LG so I stuck with the brand. Not disappointed at all. Picture is so crisp feel like i'm in a theater. Also highly recommend the best buy geek squad delivery. Fast & courteous.

Picture quality is awesome! Thanks to the review settings info for tv! Highly suggest sanus blt2 wall mount super easy and sturdy! Only down side cant get directv now or spectrum tv app! Update later if i find a solution!

This TV has great picture quality, however, what some reviews fail to mention is that this TV lacks many features, the two main ones are: -There is NO HBO GO/NOW app, therefore, if you want to use HBO GO or HBO NOW you still have to get either an Apple TV, chrome cast, Roku, etc. This really makes the "smart TV" portion worthless. -The second biggest feature this TV is lacking, is that LG will NOT be updating this TV support Apple Airplay 2. Other manufactures are updating similar models, these manufactures includes Samsung and Vizio. LG is choosing to only update a few of their latest, highest end models. Basically, I recommend getting a Samsung TV.

We have had this TV for about a month. So far it's been great. I also bought the LG SK4D sound bar. The speakers on the TV sound great. I ended up taking the sound bar back. Wish it came with the Magic Remote, but no big deal.

Amazing TV! Can't beleive the price! Great picture! Only downfall of the TV in my opinion is the Remote. Remote is as basic as it can get. Otherwise buy this TV! Wont regret it!

My Lg has been flawless and picture has remained perfect with no downgrade whatsoever. 4 years running....

Was able to get this for 799 and it was money well saved and spent. 4 HDMI ports, great picture, and sound. First TV that the sound is in sync with soundbar. Hopefully it lasts for many years to come like my Insignias.

I got the 70" version on a Black Friday deal for $700, and I can say now, having used it for a bit, it would even be worth the full price. What a steal! This TV is very bright and vivid; the colors look great and it is razor sharp. The bezels are small and the amount of built in functionality is great. 4K shows on Netflix and Prime Video are amazing to look at. The TV also has a built-in app for YouTube TV which is awesome. The "game mode" works great with PS4 Pro; the input lag is very low. One annoying thing was trying to get this set up with Alexa; that was a pain in the butt, but a very minor thing among all the pros. This is a huge and beautiful 4K TV that will wow your friends. Highly recommend it.
