I paired these speakers to my SK9Y sound bar and after using the remote to get "surround" and "movie" everything then sounded like a home theatre system should sound like. The bass I set for #3 and the treble to #5, the remote to #4 and it really sounds good - much better than the sound bar alone. The rear speakers don't have much volume but it is adequate for listening pleasure. If they had a volume control knob and if they would be a little louder they would be perfect.

This added an extra layer of rich surround sound to our system. We have this in our master bedroom, paired with the SN9YG Soundbar and a 70 inch TV. Who needs to go to the theater when you can get great quality sound at home! Absolutely love this! Slightly disappointed to see its not TRULY wireless, there are wires from the 2 speakers to the "wireless receiver", but other than that (which really isn't a big deal at all!) this is perfect!

For the price, these speakers are a good choice if you’re looking for a pair of plug and play surround sound speakers. They’re very simple to set up and paired up with my SL4Y sound bar easily. My only complaint is that the speakers cut out for a moment maybe a couple of times a month. Not a huge deal but can be a bit annoying during sports or important scenes in shows/movies.

Paired with SL8YG Atmos sound bar. Work very well at about 25 feet, that is about max range though. Overall with ease of use and install plus the price I'm very happy with these

This is a great pair of back wireless speakers for LG Soundbars. These sound bars doesn't sound 100% without these back speackers. Sound quality is very impressive.

It is a nice upgrade to the sk9y soundbar. I feel more immersed with the sound as it brings forth a dynamic range of motion within the sound. It can bring out dolby vision to a greater level as the immersive experience is almost on par with cinema theaters.

I have a pretty small room and there wasnt that many reviews saying how quiet they were so I thought it'd be fine but they're pretty disappointing. I have em paired with the SK8Y soundbar but in the center of my small room, they are completely drowned out by the soundbar. You need to have them placed right behind of where you're going to be sitting, and more, they have to be angled right at you if you want to get the best experience from them. I bought em for cheap, they're going back up to around $200 but I don't think they're worth the price. They only work when streaming music over bluetooth. Netflix has shows that support 5.1 surround, and even some with dolby atmos, but when I watch Netflix, sound only comes from the soundbar, not the speakers. Have it hooked up with ARC HDMI and surround is set to on, but no surround sound at all really. It's what I get for trying to get a budget sound system for less than $500. I'm gonna go ahead and replace it all with the samsung KW-H950 with Harmon Kardon. Double the price but more worth it, and it's rear speakers have up firing drivers.

Great add - on for SL8YG, the only reason for the 4 stars instead of the 5 is because it has to be wired to a remote base, otherwise no problems with sound or operation. Complements the sound bar well!

I got these expecting to place the receiver on the other side of the room from my soundbar. Unfortunately, the receiver's connectivity was terrible and would drop the connection repeatedly anywhere past 6 or so feet. I ended placing it on the floor next to my TV stand and purchasing a spool of speaker wire to place the two satellite speakers. Aside from that, they work as expected and pair nicely with the LG soundbar and LG app. I was disappointed in the headache placing the receiver, but the speakers themselves are good. My issue MIGHT be due to my soundbar's proximity to my wireless router, but i couldn't say for sure.

This spk8-s speaker set is the perfect addition to any of these house shaking lg soundbars. I plan to hang them on shelf mounts after we paint the living room and im so excited because they are small enough to fit! Don't let their size fool you though, we hooked these up (because we just HAD to see what they could do after the soundbar alone shook our house!) And let me tell you, they did not disappoint! It felt like a movie theater, I could literally taste the popcorn. I can't wait until we get them installed permanently and BEHIND us, its going to be like we are in the movie we are watching. Overall, these speakers are a fabulous addition to my lg sound experience. They are small and compact (which I'm a huge fan of) they're a nice sleek black and are quality heavy but not unmanageable. I highly recommend for any avid entertainment/music lovers as this will knock your socks off!

Easy to set up, worked right out of the box; decent sound but not as loud as I’d like. Good value overall though.

I recently set up a large and high tech LG soundbar in my spacious living room. I researched and added this LG sound bar to my set-up, and wanted proper surrounds to make it a 7.1.2 system. Overall, the LG Spk-S surrounds are just marginal, not fantastic but also I do not regret the money I spent purchasing. I have experienced intermittent sound cutout for no reason. They could be working fine during a movie, or show, then with will cut out quite a bit. Overall good price for the money, good value!

Lg, rear speakers is the most sound backup you could even ask for. Clear and bring your sounds to life , just like you are in a movie. Must have speakers to enhanced the sound that you are looking for. Go lg, keep bringing it to your consumer. Thank for looking in the customer interest.

LG surround sound does not disappoint. Has great quality sound. Wireless system is easily setup.

But if you want them to shine you need them on the bass setting then they take off. Great sound. Only 1 eq setting they really work great on but thats all you need i guess. If you use virtual x theyre drowned out or are not boosted. It is a great sound though on bass eq.

I bought this to supplement my LG OLED tv and my LG 3.1 sound bar with wireless subwoofer. Sound wise, I turned up the rear and whether or not you hear them depends on the movie. It does fill in the room but it is not too loud, in fact I wish it could be a little louder. One complaint is it’s difficulty in mounting. There is no way to mount it on the wall and very little way to mount on a speaker stand. It has one small screw hole in back and on the bottom but too small to secure to a bracket. Screws are not provided. I bought multi purpose sanus speaker stands and had to end up using 3M tape to secure it. Both fell twice off the stand on installation but to its credit, the speakers were sturdy and did not break. It was a bit inconvenient to install and a bit on the not so loud side but I gave it a 3/5 because it does its job.

The build quality is great and they look good. But do not be fooled the pics don't show the back for a good reason. It makes you assume that they are wireless as described. But in fact they are wired and each speaker requires a speaker wire connected back to a powered transmitter box(very large), all of which has to be hidden somewhere. I can't say why the box is so large, I have bought speakers like this 10 years ago that had a tiny powered transmitter that was easy to hide. The LG website also shows pics without the back being shown and demo pics in room are all angled to avoid seeing the back or any wires. Usually at the point you find this out you have already unpacked and won't return it. The box is technically gets the speaker signals across the room so its more like partially wireless with a big box and a pile of wires to hide.

Purchasing the rear surround speakers with the sound bar and woofer speaker that I had purchased earlier, it brought the whole sound of the TV to a new complete sound experience. I Highly recommend the speaker addition.

Have had issues where they drop in/out of connection with the soundbar. When connected, I don’t get a lot of effect out of them. So little that I wouldn’t bother buying them if I had it to do over again. LG seems to have issues with their wireless connections as the soundbar itself had issues maintaining connection to its subwoofer. As the manual says, do not have wireless router within specified distance or it will interfere. After moving Google mesh point more than 15’ away I no longer have issues with subwoofer dropping out, but these rear speakers do.
