This LG has Android built-in. Both have the Google Play Store and choose the Apps you can download. Britbox is not available in either TV, yet is on the non TV Google Play Store. You have to wait for the manufacturer to add them sometime in the future. LG gives you a built-in Web Browser. You can go to britbox.com and sign in and instantly you have Britbox.

Due to contract issues, we decided that the LG would be a better fit with some of the apps not available on the new Samsung models. We are very happy with our choice. Being long term Samsung TV fans, the learning curve on how to use all the features on the new LG TV has been a challenge, especially with the point and click remote.
