Color/Picture quality issues

I see all these positive reviews about the picture quality and color but we are having issues with both, mostly color. We plan on exchanging this product with another because we want to like this TV. I will update my review when we do so.

Spend money money on a better product

Crappy company

Good TV, But Could Use Improvements in Options
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought an LG 75" 4K UHD Smart webOS tv on Black Friday, and while we love the size, the color, and clarity, there are a few things that I wish we'd done our homework on BEFORE purchasing as there's just some options that could be tweaked/added to make it a better television. Our tv does seem to lose connection, & you'll get a little line that runs across the screen while it's reconnecting, some blur while it's buffering, etc. We had an initial IP conflict when we set it up, so watch for that. So far, no matter what we do, the LG channels that come with it do NOT work; there may be sound but the majority say that there's an "error" with the video, so, they're pretty much unusable. Second, channels that we had on our Roku are NOT available on this channel, or, only for a monthly subscription cost, like we have IPTV on the Roku, but they want $1.99/month on the LG, so if you have any Sesame Street lovers, don't get rid of your Roku unless you want to pay more per month to get it. There were a few others missing, too, that ARE offered on the Roku device, but not on the LG. Also, we liked the search functions better on the Roku; the other day the LG just kept taking me right back into the commercial that had been playing on the last channel I'd watched, & it would NOT go to the main menu as I was selecting. Due to the channel issues and the search/channel selection functions, we intend to put our Roku back on, which partially wastes the "smart" function, but it just doesn't offer what we want/prefer. The last thing that we've noticed is that several shows come in WAY too dark, & we've played around with all of the options, and really aren't able to brighten the screen without distorting the color in doing so, & even then, it's not as visible as we'd like.

Lg quality at a great price, would recommend this tv to others. Remote is great, easy to use. This is my third lg tv. Just as good as the expensive brands.

Don’t walk, RUN!

This TV is amazing! Picture quality is amazing, the sound is amazing! Great TV and I’ve had it for 3 years already. Definitely recommend!

Good bang for the buck

There’s other tvs with more bells and whistles but a lot more expensive. I’m happy with this purchase.
