BUT, I can't turn the darn thing off because when I do, it does not register the HDMI port that I have my firetv cube plugged into. I have tried all of the ports and the same problem occurs when the TV is turned off. I have to, each and every darn time, unplug the cable at the back of the tv and unplug the cable from the firetv. I have upgraded the cable, thinking that it could be an issue with my cord, and the problem persists. I contacted LG support, they had me do a reset and it didn't work. This is a major headache considering that the tv was hung on my wall, so getting to the back of it to unplug constantly is not easy. I would return it but, again, its hung on the wall and geek squad took the box.

Auto Dimming ruins experience

It has brilliant color aand amazing contrast and black levels that have you in awe of the picture. That is until you are watching a dark scene and find yourself completely taken out of the moment because you cant even see what’s going on. Then when the scene finally changes to daytime you can see the tv violently boost the brightness back up where it should be. It absolutely ruins the movie watching experience, it is so distracting. Even my parents who don’t typically notice this type of thing sat that wondering what the heck was going on. So extremely frustrated.
