Beautiful picture & easy to use
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my LG TV. The picture is so clear and the colors so vibrant. I have it on a console and it looks so clean with the super narrow frame and unobtrusive legs. I'm so happy with my purchase. My grandkids love playing their Play Station 5 on my big screen. Best part is that it's so simple to navigate with the remote control. I highly recommend this LG TV!

The Right Choice
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What an amazing TV!! I was so on the fence to buy it, I was comparing between this model and the Samsung QN90A series TV. After going to see both sets in store and reading reviews between the 2 I decided to buy the LG C1 77" TV. My living room has an insane amount of light that comes through the 4 panel sliding glass door and a sky light, to add insult to injury all of that glass faces east! One of my biggest concerns was this TV would not be bright enough to be able to view during the day. I'm here to tell you - this TV has zero issues even with all that day light coming in. What a beautiful picture! Even the sound is amazing!! Video games on PS5 & xbox x have ZERO lag! No issues streaming via wifi. My only gripe with this TV is how wonky certain apps can be at start up (when you first turn the TV on). Other than $3,000 plus price I have no complaints!! I have long been a loyal Samsung QLED supporter and the new QN-QLED tech in Samsung's TV's gave me high hopes. But sometimes taking a step forward equals taking 2 steps back and that's kind of how I feel about the Samsung QN90A series. But once you go OLED you can never go back to QLED. It's that good!!

Beautiful, and worth every penny
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best TV I've owned, hands down. Picture is crystal clear. Doesnt look jittery or have odd live motion, and blacks are BLACK. No idea on the audio as I have it hooked to 7.2 surround

Best TV I've ever owned
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had many nice TVs throughout the years - each one nicer than the previous - and this one doesn't break that trend. The picture is beautiful no matter what you're watching. It runs my PS5 perfectly and smoothly in full 4k HDR. Gran Turismo hasn't looked this good since 1997. Just breathtaking.

Wishlist Tv finally got one
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Always a big fan of the LG tv. Had a 65” LED for the last 7 years and the image quality was still pretty. Had this the LG OLED in my wishlist for a while and finally got my hands on one. The only reason to switch was the true black experience and rich contrast that you get with this tv. After researching, I did not get the CX because of all the upgrade features the C1 offers including a better gaming experience, and I did not get the G1 because even that it got an an enhanced brightness it looks roughly the same when side by side and some critics even found C1 display richer than the G1. For me, I chose the C1 and save a bit of money vs the G1 since it’s LG most recent model in the OLED line. Because the nature of the OLED is a bit darker than the QLED is something of personal taste. For me this OLED display is definitely an upgrade in my movie watching experience. The built in speakers are good enough all though I never use them, I use my sound bar. Love the super thin clean screen exterior design it looks modern and well built. It has 4 hdmi ports 1 for fast gaming experience.

Great Picture
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture of this TV is superb. I actually bought the new Samsung Neo first and exchanged it out for this one. The overall quality is excellent only drawbacks are the price, and it's not really user-friendly. The settings have a lot of sub-menus, so things are not as easy to find, but it might just be my lack of experience with LG TV's.

I hate that I'm giving 3 stars
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I really wanted to love this TV. And on some days I do. But on many days I find myself cussing it. I bought it on the recommendation of basically the entire internet on it being the best TV for PS5. And on that front, it succeeds admirably. The refresh rate is excellent, the audio quality is stellar and supports Dolby Atmos, the built in video calibration options for gaming make any game you play look beautiful. And the picture itself when watching movies or anything else is really fantastic. Paired with and LG 3.1 channel Atmos enabled soundbar it's truly a luxurious entertainment experience on all fronts. That being said, what drops it to 3 stars is the miserable UI and the inconsistent connectivity of the apps. Menus are clunky, non-intuitive and unresponsive, apps crash constantly and don't update regularly, the TV itself disconnects from the internet frequently (despite being hardwired with a brand new Cat6) and the remote feels like an early 2000s Wiimote. It's just a bad, bad, bad UX. I never really saw anyone mention this in the countless reviews I read and watched prior to dropping three grand on this beast, so it's possible this is just a me problem, but I really hate the experience. So for picture and sound quality, 5 stars, heck 10 stars. For user experience and ease of access, two thumbs down. Sorry LG, try a new UI next year please.

Best Picture I've Ever Seen
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has incredible colors and a true-to-life picture. I really can not rate the sound unto the TV itself because I have a home entertainment center with amplifier and seven speakers. The remote control and streaming services is very easy and user friendly.

Love my new TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The most perfect picture you can imagine! Colors and blacks are vivid. You can watch favorite movies and it’s almost like seeing them for the first time. Perfect for a darker room, especially a large bedroom. A smart TV that is extremely user friendly.

TV Perfection. Don’t hesitate to purchase.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV’s picture is stunning, particularly if you’re coming from standard LED or older tech. The reviews here and online elsewhere are right: if you can afford it, this is the TV to buy right now. While great in all lighting conditions, the contrast provided by OLED is amazing in low light movie watching conditions. That’s where it really pops. The stand is the sturdiest of any TV I’ve owned, but this TV looks amazing wall mounted. The packing of the electronics/processing are along the lower third, making that a few inches deeper that the screen. When wall mounting that’s less than ideal, but something you’ll forget about once the tv is up. I hope you enjoy this tv as much as we are. Quick tip: when you go to register the tv with LG, press the mute button 3 times to bring up the SN on the screen.

Amazing new OLED
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV replaced a few year old 75in Sony 950E that had the panel go bad. I had thought that was a great TV, this new LG C1 OLED blows it out of the water. Everything seems so much more realistic and detailed, colors are more vibrant, and the images are so crisp. I was also surprised how well the HDMI control works with other components, especially my PS5 which is usually the hardest to control. The only con I would really say is that when using a component plugged into HDMI (like the PS5) there is a slight audio delay when pushing sound from the PS5 to the TV and then to an AV receiver. This could be remedied by allowing the audio delay setting in the TV to delay the image to account for the delay in sending audio to the receiver. Unfortunately that's not possible, but with a few other settings we've been able to get this to be good enough.

Superb TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing is a beast. I upgraded from a ~60” HD Samsung to this 77” bad boy and am very pleased. The good: The contrast ratio is amazing. The refresh rate is wonderfully fast. The response time is also fantastic. My PS5 games look and play superbly. The bad: This screen is quite thin and feels fairly fragile. The ride home (standing up, strapped in the back of a short bed Tacoma) was nerve wracking. I used 4 straps. 2 holding the TV forward and 2 holding it down. Towels were placed at the points where the straps contacted the box to help alleviate any rough jerking. Delivery might be a better option. The sound wasn’t super amazing from the TV itself. I fixed this issue with an LG soundbar and the combo works magnificently. All in all I am quite happy with my purchase even if it isn’t one of the new C2 models. The 77” C1 is also about $600 cheaper than the 77” C2 at this point.
